ARC Raiders features tons of loot to find as you play. And, as is typical in games like this, the most valuable items are usually locked away and require a specific key to access.
Throughout the game, you’ll find locked doors. You’ll need to find the right key to open each one. It seems simple, but there’s a twist!
This guide explains how to obtain a Dam Surveillance Key and where it can be used. While it might take a little effort to get, it’s much easier to acquire than some other items in the game.
Where to find a Dam Surveillance Key
Keys, including the Dam Surveillance Key, are usually found as random items throughout the game world, with a higher chance of appearing in towns and cities. While most keys are found by chance, this specific key is obtained through completing a quest.
You can start this quest after you’ve already completed ‘A Better Use’ and gotten a supply drop. Once ‘A Better Use’ is finished, you’ll be able to accept ‘Greasing Her Palms’ and receive the key you need.
You can get keys to any door on any map from any container.
Where to Use the Dam Surveillance Key
When you first enter Dam Battlegrounds, I suggest heading straight for the Water Treatment Control to collect the valuable items inside. It usually holds a lot of loot, and it’s best to get it before anyone else does, even if it fills up most of your inventory.
If you’re installing this from scratch, the images and instructions below will guide you. Otherwise, it should be fairly straightforward to set up.
- From the ground, go to the open part with the metal stairs.
- Take the stairs up to the main area with all the doors.
- From the stairs, stay facing the same direction, and the door will be the first on your right.
- The door in the back right of this room is the locked surveillance room.
Once you get inside, you can collect as much treasure as you can. Then, all you have to do is get back safely.
You can use a Raider Hatch Key so you don’t have to risk it at a regular extraction point.
Dam Surveillance Key Rewards
You’re likely to collect a lot of valuable items, so it’s smart to use a loot augment. The more extra storage you have, the better prepared you’ll be.
Here’s a short list of the items I gathered:
- Two Rare Guns
- One Uncommon Gun
- Two Blueprints
- Five Rare Materials
Lots of valuable items are hidden behind locked doors. If you find a key, you could try a Night Raid for a chance at even better rewards, if you’re feeling adventurous.
