The recent Shrouded Sky update for ARC Raiders introduced new enemies, a challenging new map feature, and – best of all – a fresh set of quests for players to tackle!
So, I jumped into Worth Your Salt, and honestly, the ending is a mess. It seems like there’s a real bug stopping you from finishing, or maybe the developers just missed something big. Either way, I was super frustrated – I’d spent ages on this quest, only to hit a wall and not be able to actually complete it. A lot of other players are feeling the same way, and we’re all pretty annoyed we wasted our time.
Just because it’s challenging doesn’t mean it’s impossible! Let’s explore the ‘Worth Your Salt’ achievement and figure out how to complete it, even with the existing issues.
Prerequisites

You can start this quest immediately after updating to the latest Shrouded Sky patch. Celeste will give you the quest, and she’ll need you to find a new salt battery.
This mission will likely require you to move quickly from the start, so it’s important to bring Adrenaline Shots. They’ll help you run for a longer period of time and keep up the pace.
Plus, with the dangers both around and inside the Rocket Assembly, it’s a good idea to bring a strong weapon, such as an Anvil.
Quest Walkthrough
Completion Steps
First, go to Spaceport and then make your way to the Rocket Assembly area, which is in the northeast part of the map. The entire quest happens in the northwestern room of the Rocket Assembly, separate from the main thruster area.
Go to the northwest room and then up to the metal walkway. You’ll see some red lockers. The uncharged battery is in a small container on the ground, just to the left of those lockers.
Take the battery and go to the broken walkway, right after the lockers. Jump down into the room below, and you’ll find a machine in the center with a slot that glows blue – that’s where you need to put the battery.
Connect the device to power, then touch the side to start charging the battery. After it’s charged, carry it to the delivery box in the far corner of the room and place the battery inside. That finishes the quest! It sounds simple, but this final step is often where people get stuck.
Quest Issues
The issue is that only the very first player to put a battery in the collection box can finish the task. Once the box is full, no one else on the map can contribute, which is frustrating when there are often more than 20 players on the same map at once.
Currently, completing the quest relies heavily on luck – either spawning near the Rocket Assembly or waiting for a game update or for enough players to finish it to reduce competition. Choosing Spaceport, especially with challenging map conditions like Hurricane, might make quest completion easier because the plentiful high-quality loot will likely attract fewer players focused on the quest itself.

Unfortunately, at this point, there’s not a lot you can do but pray and cross your fingers.
Quest Rewards
This is a standalone quest with no prequels or sequels.
Once you finish this step, you’ll get the recipe for Vita Spray, a strong healing item. Here’s what you’ll need to make it:
- 3x Antiseptic
- 1x Canister
- 1x Tick Pod
To craft this, you’ll need the final level of the Medical Lab in your Workshop.
