Arcade1Up has become a popular choice for anyone wanting to bring the fun of classic arcade games home or to a business. However, the company, currently a leader in creating these gaming cabinets, is facing difficulties that may lead to its closure.
While powerful PCs and the PS5 Pro offer great gaming, nothing beats the classic feel of an arcade machine. Arcade1Up has been recreating that experience since 2018, founded by CEO Scott Bachrach, and has seen success. However, recent signs indicate their current performance isn’t sustainable.
It Seems Like The End For Arcade1Up
A recent post on the Arcade1Up subreddit appears to reveal an internal email conversation between Arcade1Up staff.
In the email, the sender is contacting the company’s Beta Team with an unfortunate message:
I’m sharing some difficult news with you all. Arcade1Up is shutting down, and for most of us, our last day will be this Friday. I don’t have any information about what happens to the Arcade1Up brand in the future, or who will be running things. I also don’t know what the plans are for the arcade machines or Infinity Tables, although I expect they’ll keep running as usual, but I can’t confirm that.
If Arcade1Up stops operating, it could create a lot of problems for people who play games online, update their machines’ software, and rely on the company for support.
