For instance, it’s been disclosed that the species of the Namekians, Piccolo, Kami, and Dende, hail from the Realm of Demons. This revelation, however, does spark some curiosity. Could the Namekians be a race of Majin?

In the Demon Realm, the Majin form most of the intelligent lifeforms. Interestingly enough, Dragon Ball Daima suggests that many species across the multiverse originated from them. But are the Namekians included in this group?

The term ‘Majin’ encompasses various species and races with demonic or magical origins. However, despite the Namekians possessing magical abilities, no official statements have been made confirming their identity as Majins.

Continue monitoring Daima regularly as they’re progressing rapidly with their lore reveals, and there’s a chance they could uncover a link between Namekians and Majins at any moment. It’s possible that they might expand the concept of what constitutes a Majin to include any race or species originating from the Demon Realm.

Is Demon King Piccolo a Majin?

In the world of Dragon Ball, is King Piccolo being a demon and the Majin being demonic creatures an exception for all Namekians? The answer is no, though it’s more intricate than that because while the Majin are indeed demons, they aren’t the only demons in Dragon Ball. King Piccolo isn’t from the Majin realm; instead, he’s the embodiment of an unnamed Namekian’s evil side, with Kami being the manifestation of his good nature. This makes King Piccolo a pure-evil being, or a “demon”, but one not related to the Majin. He even established his own Demon Clan, including his sons like Tambourine, Cymbal, and Drum who are also demons, but not Majin.

In certain universes, Demon King Piccolo is regarded as a Majin. This is particularly true in the Xenoverse games because of a technique called the Majin Kamehameha. This move is described as the Demon Clan’s adaptation of the Kamehameha, but it’s also utilized by actual Majins such as Majin Buu and Xenoverse’s Demon King, Mira. However, until an official anime or manga confirms this, Demon King Piccolo can only be considered a Majin within the Xenoverse storyline.

Compared to the Majins, who settled in the multiverse around the time it was first formed, many eons ago, the Namekians migrated from the Demon Realm relatively recently, approximately thousands of years ago. This estimation is derived from Neva mentioning that he hasn’t encountered another Namekian in thousands of years in the first episode of Dragon Ball Daima, titled “Conspiracy”.

The Namekians departed from the Demon Realm as they disliked being controlled by the Demon King. Since their ability to manufacture Dragon Balls and summon wish-granting dragons was too precious for the Demon King to ignore, the Namekians were forced to leave the Demon Realm. As pacifists, rather than instigate a rebellion, they decided to depart, taking enough resources from their original planet Namek to replicate their environment in their new home. The exact method of their departure remains unclear, as Warp-sama appears to be the sole means of entering and exiting the Demon Realm, which is heavily guarded. However, the Supreme Kai hinted that travel regulations between the Demon Realm and other realms were not always so stringent, suggesting that the Namekians may have departed before these restrictions were implemented. It’s possible that the Namekians’ departure triggered the Demon King to tighten the travel regulations. Neva, the creator of the Dragon Balls in the Demon Realm, was the only Namekian who remained behind.

Leaving this place seems to have been a challenging choice, given that the Demon King supremes are known for their self-centered nature. The Namekians possess numerous talents, making them highly valued. Regrettably, they were often seen as mere servants rather than respected individuals.

Why Do Only Universe 6 and 7 Have Namekians?

The Twin Universes Are What the Namekians Now Call Home

As a fervent admirer of cosmic entities, I can’t help but ponder over the fascinating dynamics of the Namekians. Given their species was scarcely populated, they chose solidarity as their home resided within the confines of a single planet in the Demon Realm – a realm that teemed with Majins, whose numbers were so vast, they could colonize every universe crafted by Rymus.

Moreover, the Namekians’ extraordinary abilities and pacifistic nature made them appealing targets for nefarious entities. Thus, it was only logical for them to band together in a few substantial groups, fortifying their unity against potential threats.

However, it’s important to note that it wasn’t necessarily necessary for Universes 6 and 7 to be chosen. Instead, these universes divided into separate groups and randomly selected the twin universes as their choices. If we were to speculate, it could be due to the fact that these two universes harbored planets that were proximally aligned to the original Namek, making them plausible candidates for the selection process.
