As a hardcore extraction shooter enthusiast with countless hours invested in Escape from Tarkov, I can confidently say that the announcement of Arena Breakout: Infinite entering early access on August 13 has me more excited than my cat when it’s dinner time!

MoreFun Studios has declared that Arena Breakout: Infinite, the highly-anticipated ‘extraction shooter’ designed to outshine Tarkov, will debut in early access on August 13th. Having undergone successful beta testing, Arena Breakout: Infinite is now prepared to advance to a higher stage. The MoreFun Studios team believes that this is the perfect moment to unveil the global development plan for the game as it enters early access.

Get Ready to Breakout

During the discussion about the beta testing phase, Enzo Zhang, both the game producer at MoreFun and the head honcho at MoreFun Studios, expressed his thoughts.

During the initial Beta Testing phase for Arena Breakout: Infinite earlier this year, our team was dedicated to refining the game by fixing issues and incorporating new elements based on feedback. Our insights from the beta testing led us to believe that the optimal method for managing early access development would be through our official website. This approach seems most efficient and collaborative as we aim to release the most comprehensive 1.0 version of Arena Breakout: Infinite on PC during this early access period.

The early access period for Arena Breakout: Infinite won’t come with any conditions, meaning it will be accessible to everyone on PC without charge. This visually appealing and smooth-running free-to-play extraction shooter is a strong contender in the genre, particularly as an alternative to Escape from Tarkov, which has been the subject of some debate within the extraction shooter community, especially due to its Russian origins.

Here’s the trailer for Arena Breakout: Infinite’s early access release:

In its early access stage, MoreFun’s Arena Breakout: Infinite will be accompanied by a fresh map, a variety of new weapons and equipment items, along with ‘killcam’ and spectate modes, which have long been desired by players of Tarkov worldwide. Interestingly, these features have not been introduced by the game’s developer, Battlestate Games, until now.

Ultimately, ABI will introduce a ‘seasons’ feature, enhancing the game’s performance for smoother play even on less powerful computer systems.

Will you be playing Arena Breakout: Infinite when it’s released on August 13?
