As a huge Arena Breakout Infinite player, I’m so excited to hear that MOREFUN is finally adding proximity chat! We’ve been asking for this for over a year now, and it’s awesome to know they’re listening and putting it in the game after months of requests from the community.
Proximity chat is a popular feature in extraction shooter games, letting players coordinate with teammates, plead for mercy, or taunt enemies during exciting and challenging fights. Many players have felt its absence in Arena Breakout Infinite was a significant drawback.
Proximity Chat Brings Players Closer Together
Enzo Zhang, studio head at MOREFUN, announced on social media that the team is actively working on proximity chat. Shortly after, the official Arena Breakout Infinite account confirmed they’ve received and acknowledged player feedback on the issue.
People immediately reacted with excitement to the announcement, sharing their thoughts on the posts. One fan exclaimed, “Yes! This is going to be amazing!” while another predicted, “Get ready for teams to dominate the game.”
Players have been asking about how proximity chat works in Arena Breakout Infinite. One user specifically wanted to know:
Could you explain how this feature will function? I’m particularly wondering if players will be able to use loud sounds, like music, to prevent enemies from detecting them during raids.
I’ve seen this get people in trouble in other games before. Like, in Escape from Tarkov, intentionally messing with other players like that is actually a reportable offense. They take that kind of stuff seriously, and you could get flagged for it.
⁉️⏩️⏩️OK you’re heard guys.

Proximity chat – where you can only hear players who are nearby in the game – has become incredibly popular recently. It often leads to fun and engaging moments for streamers who interact with other players. Games like ARC Raiders have helped make this feature even more common.
