Arknights: Endfield has launched, and there’s a lot to learn! Figuring out which resources to prioritize while exploring the large Valley IV map can be tough, and actually finding those resources isn’t always easy. That’s where our interactive map comes in! It shows you the location of every important chest, aurylene, SOS robot, and rare ore. You can even filter the map to show only what you’re looking for, helping you quickly level up your Authority!
This map is a work in progress and is updated regularly
What To Expect When Exploring Valley IV
Once you get past the amazing introduction, you’ll quickly be thrown into a major crisis affecting all of Valley IV. With the help of Perlica, you’ll learn how to fight, explore, and run your factory. However, you’ll need to finish a few initial tasks before you can freely roam the map.
Once you get the map, you’ll notice much of it is hidden by fog, and there are more areas to discover beyond where you start. You’ll also encounter puzzles and obstacles that you’ll need to solve and avoid to find everything valuable. Keep these key things in mind as you explore:
Unlocking the Map
To reveal the entire map and remove the fog, you need to activate all the Teleport Points (TP Points). These points let you quickly travel around the world, and also act as places for your team to rest and regain health between fights. Plus, activating them gives you easy experience points while you explore, so they’re well worth finding!
You’ll unlock new parts of the map by completing story missions. You also need to increase your Authority Level to access those areas, so make sure to do side activities and gather resources to level up quickly.
Relay Towers and Electric Pylons
When you venture beyond the central AIC Area, you’ll find electric gates that need a power source to open. Also, any buildings you construct outside this central area will need their own power supply. Relay Towers and Electric Pylons are the solution for providing that power.
Begin by building a Core AIC tower, then connect Relay Towers across the map to create a power network. This network will let you easily power things like Electric Nexuses to open locked doors and gates. You can also connect Relay Towers to Electric Pylons to run equipment like mining rigs and ziplines.
Ore Harvesting
Early in the game, you can get ore by hitting it with your weapon, but it’s better to build mining rigs at mineral deposits. These rigs will give you a consistent flow of essential resources for crafting everything you need.
At first, I had to run back to each mining rig to grab the ore myself, which was a bit of a pain. But thankfully, as I upgraded to better rigs, they started sending the ore straight to my depot, meaning I could access it instantly at any of my factories – way more convenient!
