Assassins Creed Franchise Platinum Trophy Difficulty Tier List

Assassins Creed Franchise Platinum Trophy Difficulty Tier List

As a seasoned Assassin’s Creed enthusiast with over a decade of gaming under my belt, I can confidently say that the journey to platinum each Assassin’s Creed game has been an exciting and challenging adventure. From the humble beginnings of the first Assassin’s Creed to the grandeur of Valhalla, each game has offered a unique blend of history, stealth, and parkour that keeps me coming back for more.

Since its launch in November 2007, the Assassin’s Creed franchise has been thriving for close to two decades. Over the years, it has expanded significantly, with each new installment offering a larger game world, additional gameplay features, various side activities, and a more extensive storyline compared to its predecessor. The initial Assassin’s Creed was already ambitious, but the series has grown exponentially since then.

As the Assassin’s Creed series expands, its Platinum Trophy pursuit often becomes more labor-intensive, which is especially noticeable in the latest role-playing game (RPG) focused installments. However, a longer Platinum Trophy chase doesn’t automatically imply a tougher journey. In fact, some of Assassin’s Creed’s most challenging trophies are found in games that fans may not anticipate.

In this tier list, we’re focusing on the level of challenge for earning the Platinum Trophy in each game from the Assassin’s Creed series, rather than evaluating their overall quality.

S-Tier Assassin’s Creed Platinum Trophies

The Most Grueling Assassin’s Creed Platinum Journeys

Assassin’s Creed 3: Obtaining one of the toughest Platinum Trophies in the entire Assassin’s Creed series is the challenge presented by Assassin’s Creed 3. The most challenging part of earning the Platinum trophy for AC3 is the need to achieve a perfect synchronization score in all missions, a feat that demands the player to successfully complete some extremely difficult and exasperating optional objectives. Additionally, what places AC3 at the top of this tier list is its tedious nature. Although other Assassin’s Creed games towards the bottom of the list have a longer grind, AC3’s is more monotonous than the rest, with its numerous collectible hunts taking upwards of tens of hours each.

Assassin’s Creed Unity: Unlike the grind seen in Assassin’s Creed 3, Assassin’s Creed Unity includes cooperative gameplay for its Platinum achievement. However, despite the servers still being operational, it will be extremely challenging for players to find a full co-op lobby in AC Unity, especially for an extended period needed to earn its more demanding multiplayer trophies.

A-Tier Assassin’s Creed Platinum Trophies

Some Time-Consuming Assassin’s Creed Platinum Journeys

In this collection, you’ll find the last three role-playing games from the Assassin’s Creed series: Assassin’s Creed Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla. Despite minor differences in completion time for each game’s Platinum trophy, they all share similar levels of difficulty. Finishing these RPGs from Assassin’s Creed might seem straightforward, but be prepared to invest a significant amount of time, as each game requires close to 100 hours to complete.

B-Tier Assassin’s Creed Platinum Trophies

Some Fairly Difficult Assassin’s Creed Platinum Journeys

Assassin’s Creed Ezio Collection: This collection gathers Assassin’s Creed 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations, offering an easy way to enjoy these classic games as one package. Fortunately, the multiplayer trophies have been removed from this version of the Ezio trilogy, making it less challenging to achieve Platinum status. However, each Platinum achievement still requires some effort due to the numerous collectibles in each game, like the notorious feathers in AC2.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag: In contrast to the heightened challenge of Assassin’s Creed 3, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag simplifies things by going back to the essentials. Despite having a map larger than any previous one, the diverse gameplay and activities in Black Flag make its Platinum achievement less of a chore and more enjoyable.

In the world of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, I found myself reminiscent of Black Flag, as its Platinum trophy quest was just as engaging. But don’t let that simplicity fool you – hunting down every hidden collectible, immersing in side activities galore, and ridding the map completely of Templar control demanded a substantial investment of my gaming hours.

C-Tier Assassin’s Creed Platinum Trophies

Relatively Breezy Assassin’s Creed Platinum Journeys

As a gaming enthusiast, I recently dove into the world of Assassin’s Creed with Liberation, a more compact and less complex chapter in the series. Surprisingly, it’s quite doable to snag its coveted Platinum Trophy within a mere 15 hours, as per PSNProfiles.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue: This is another compact adventure within the Assassin’s Creed series, similar to Assassin’s Creed Rogue. By scaling back some aspects from Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, it offers a longer yet streamlined gameplay experience aimed at earning a Platinum trophy.

Assassin’s Creed: Mirage: The latest installment in the series, Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, is a back-to-basics approach by Ubisoft, offering a more compact experience compared to its RPG counterparts. Despite having some challenging Trophies, earning the Platinum trophy in AC: Mirage should not present much trouble for players.
