A variety of tasks and goals await you, which, when considered individually, might seem daunting. However, you won’t be tackling them alone.

It’s great to know that you won’t need to venture through Japan alone if you prefer not to. You’ll find companions who can assist you on your journey, and there are scouts available to aid you in achieving objectives and completing tasks.

Here’s a simplified approach to managing your scouts more clearly, allowing you to fully appreciate the richness of the game experience.

How To Improve Scouts

After progressing in the game until you complete the quest titled “From Spark to Flame,” you’ll gain the ability to add new scouts to your team and enhance their skills, ensuring they perform optimally.

As a passionate Scout enthusiast, one strategy I’ve found effective in enhancing my Scout abilities is by strategically constructing specific structures within my Hideout. Let me walk you through the buildings that significantly boost Scout performance:

1. Scout Training Room: This facility upgrades the Scouts’ combat skills and speed, making them more formidable on the battlefield.
2. Scout Barracks: Expand your Scout squad by building additional Scouts in this structure.
3. Scout Hospital: Keep your Scouts healthy and ready for action with this essential healing facility.
4. Scout Traps: Set up these traps to slow down enemy units, giving your Scouts a better chance to escape or catch up.
5. Scout Sensor Array: This tool enhances the vision range of your Scouts, allowing them to spot enemies from further away.

Building What It Does
Study Increase your scouts by 1 per upgrade.
Stables Stockpiles can be obtained with fewer scouts than originally.
Nando Reduces the amount of Mon needed to replenish scouts.

Additionally, you can unlock new scouts by completing the following objectives and quests.

  1. During “From Spark to Flame“, build your kakurega.
  2. Finish the “Finding New Allies” quest.
    • This will add two scouts.
  3. Build your study.
  4. Upgrade the study.
  5. Upgrade the study.
  6. Defeat Yagyu Munetoshi.
  7. Finish the “Tea Bowls for Rikyu” quest.
  8. Finish the “The Fox and The Pirate Alliance” quest.

We have only been able to find a total of nine scouts.

How To Refill Scouts

Replenishing Scout teams can be accomplished in two different methods. Since certain activities may require multiple Scouts to complete, it is essential to restock them regularly.

For this task, you’ll need to advance the season (ensure that more than half of the season has already occurred). To achieve this, navigate to the map, then press and hold the right directional pad to quickly move through the remainder of the season.

As a gamer, another strategy I like to employ is enhancing my team with more scouts for the season. To accomplish this, I’d navigate my way to the hideout and acquire them using Mon. If I’m looking to save some in-game currency, an effective alternative is to construct a Nando at my hideout, which reduces the cost of restocking scouts.

What Can Scouts Do?

As a devoted admirer, I’d like to emphasize that Scouts are incredibly versatile individuals who prove indispensable in various situations. They can lend a hand when you’re in a tight spot and require the guards to be distracted or if you find yourself needing additional resources. Remove Your Wanted Level

One advantageous action that scouts can perform is lowering your Wanted Level, which can be accomplished by choosing the option to clear local alerts from the map’s menu. However, this task demands 2 scouts and the presence of a level 2 Kakurega.

Find Targets For You

One thing that might perplex scouts is their ability to aid in locating objectives for you. This is accomplished by you choosing a quest that specifically states the target can be found within a certain region.

If you choose not to specify a particular quest with its target’s exact location, you won’t be able to place them at that spot. But if you do select a quest, you can position them generally within the area. With luck, they should locate your target.

Collect Valuable Resources

In summary, scouts’ last task is to gather supplies for you. These supplies can be found once you conquer enemy fortresses or specific areas. Upon discovery of a stockpile, you’ll receive an option to dispatch your scouts to retrieve them.
