From that moment forward, the sequence of events unfolds identically as if players had opted to remain silent, with Nobunaga agreeing to Valignano’s proposal, following the canonical account of what transpired.

If players opt for silence, Nobunaga will disclose that he is aware Diogo understands Japanese and inquire why Diogo deceived him. At this juncture, players can either accuse Valignana for Diogo’s deceit or explain that they are still learning the Japanese language and culture. Regardless of their response, their decision won’t impact the outcome, as Nobunaga will agree to Valignano’s request provided that Diogo remains with him.
