Should you find yourself playing Assassin’s Creed Shadows and feeling unsure about the selections in your Mastery Tree, don’t worry – you’ll have another chance to make your picks!
Ubisoft has made public the details of the initial significant update for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, labeled as version 1.0.2, which brings numerous enhancements to gameplay experience, bug corrections, and certain enhancements for the PlayStation 5 edition on PlayStation 5 Pro.
As a gamer, I’m thrilled about the new feature that allows me to tweak my strategy with characters like Naoe and Yasuke. Now, I can reshuffle my Mastery Nodes, which means I can reallocate my earned Mastery Points to experiment with various playstyles and skills. It’s a game-changer for those who often find themselves on the fence or simply want to mix things up!
A significant upgrade includes an automatic navigation system for horses (mounts), a frequently demanded return feature from past titles, which lets players input a destination, and their steed will navigate the most optimal path to reach it. Additionally, mounts will gallop quicker within city limits compared to earlier versions of the game.
Performance Upgrades, New Features, And More
The latest update for Assassin’s Creed Shadows on the PS5 Pro enhances the game with several improvements. Notably, it takes advantage of the console’s PSSR upscaling technology. In the updated Balanced setting, you’ll find the Raytraced Spectacular option, which brings the visual quality more in line with the PS5 Pro’s Quality mode rather than its Performance mode.
The frame rate in the Hideout will also no longer be capped at 30 fps in Performance mode.
In Version 1.0.2, you’ll have the convenience of batch-processing items, allowing you to add or dismantle multiple items simultaneously, streamlining your workflow when dealing with a heavily loaded inventory. Additionally, it introduces a quicker way to navigate to the Investigation Board for easier access.
Additionally, we’re working on several enhancements, including optimizing double assassinations, adjusting boss fights for better balance, resolving issues with the photo mode feature, and addressing bugs that occur on various platforms.
Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Shadows has proven to be a successful venture, surpassing the 3 million player mark with ease. It appears that Ubisoft is paying close attention to its players, as they’ve begun implementing changes such as the auto-follow feature, in response to feedback from gamers.
