Summary
- The recently added Multi-sell feature has been temporarily removed in Assassin’s Creed Shadows due to unexpected issues.
- A new hotfix also fixes stuttering issues on PC, addresses crashes, and more.
- Ubisoft has not said when the feature will return.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but express my disappointment over a recent change in “Assassin’s Creed Shadows.” One of its standout quality-of-life features, the ability to batch-sell gear automatically, seems to have been taken out of the game. Since its launch on March 20,
In this month’s initial significant update for “Assassin’s Creed Shadows”, which rolled out on April 8th, a host of enhancements, bug fixes, and convenient new elements were introduced. One such new feature is the auto-follow function, enabling players’ horses to automatically follow the designated path without manual control. A significant bug fix targeted the Hideout framerate issue, where it was inadvertently limited to 30 FPS in the game’s performance mode, causing visits to the player-created area to feel somewhat disjointed. The most practical addition introduced with the update is the capacity to label multiple items for simultaneous sale or dismantling, streamlining inventory management within menus.
In a recent update for “Assassin’s Creed Shadows”, titled Update 1.0.3, Ubisoft has temporarily disabled the recently introduced multi-sell function due to unexpected problems. The developers have not yet specified why this feature needed to be taken out and have also not given an estimated time for its return in “Assassin’s Creed Shadows”.
For players who enjoy breaking down unwanted items at the Forge in the Hideout, there’s still a chance you’ll be satisfied, as Ubisoft’s patch notes only speak about selling items in shops explicitly. The rest of Title Update 1.0.3 offers several other fixes that might temporarily replace the auto-selling feature. A bug concerning summoning ally characters in Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been addressed, along with an odd problem related to the Claw of the Dragon weapon skin causing game crashes. PS5 Pro users can also enjoy some improvements from this hotfix, including solutions for HDR and PSSR issues.
Fans who appreciated using the multi-sell feature in Assassin’s Creed Shadows will need to be patient until it returns in a future update. In the meantime, Ubisoft is preparing a story expansion for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, titled Claws of Awaji, which is expected later this year. Stay tuned on Ubisoft’s social media for updates about the game’s upcoming patch and the release of its Claws of Awaji DLC.
