As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the Bubbling Under level in Astro Bot is one of the most challenging yet satisfying stages in this fantastic game. The level’s watery environment makes finding collectibles tricky, but with a bit of patience and persistence, you can find everything!

In the thrilling world of Astro Bot, I found myself navigating the challenging underwater realm known as the Bubbling Under level, nestled within the Camo Cosmos. Similar to other stages in this captivating game, my mission was to save seven elusive bots and gather three puzzle pieces scattered throughout. Given that this level is predominantly submerged, it can be quite tricky to unearth all the hidden collectibles. Here’s a helpful guide to assist you in locating every item in Astro Bot’s Bubbling Under level!

It’s important to mention that when you start the level, there won’t be any puzzle pieces or Bots present. Instead, continue moving forward until you encounter a starfish enclosed in chains. That expansive open ocean area is where all the collectibles can be found.

Astro Bot: Bubbling Under Puzzle Pieces and Bots

As a fellow enthusiast, make your way to the right side of the open water area, with the starfish in front of you as your guide. There, you’ll find an impressive structure, which I like to call my tower. Inside one of the purple bubbles on this tower, there’s a piece of the puzzle waiting for me. To collect it, simply swim directly above that bubble and gently descend onto the puzzle piece to pick it up.

Stepping from the initial platform into the open water zone reveals a group of tiny, blue creatures resembling volcanoes that expel air bursts. Inside one of these ‘volcanoes’ is a robot (or Bot).

If you swim up towards the surface close to the entry of the “open zone,” you’ll get a glimpse of dolphins leaping over hoops. Use your penguin skills to mimic them, and you’ll be rewarded with the ‘Jumping Through Hoops‘ trophy in ‘Astro Bot‘.

Swimming counterclockwise around the large tower will lead you to a walled area with a round-topped roof. A powerful stream originates from an opening at the conclusion of a tunnel, which you can navigate using your unique Penguin abilities to reach the terminus and strike the Bot, liberating it in the process.

Standing atop the tower located on the right side will enable you to see a Bot stranded on a tiny patch of land from afar.

Venture beneath the initial platform’s surface, particularly where it meets the water’s edge, and you’ll encounter a mythical sea creature emerging from a gap in the surrounding rock wall. Notably, this area is close to where Puzzle Piece 3 can be found.

Approach the Bot and the monster at your own risk, as they may pose a threat. Avoid the tumbling spike traps to discover the Feline-resembling Ally Bot from Monster Hunter.

Venture deep underwater and you’ll come across a submerged pirate vessel, long lost at sea. Close to the ship’s bow, on the sandy floor, there’s a robot attempting to open a treasure chest. Scattered around are fragile pots as well.

Near the water’s top layer, locate a pillar marked with blue arrows pointing upward. Climb up to the platform, traverse the ropes, and you’ll arrive at a second, higher platform. You’ll notice a Bot being hassled by a purple adversary on the edge of a shell-like structure near the water.

Look underneath the giant trapped starfish to find the Octodad Bot floating near a school of fish.

Over the submerged pirate vessel lies a confined space, surrounded by what seems like a protective energy field. Upon entering this field, you can regain the ability to walk on two legs. Inside this space, there’s a foe spinning about with a spiked helmet adorning its head.

Overcome it; after that, a spiral blue pattern will appear on the ground. Employ your energized spinning maneuver to expose a hidden treasure chest containing the second puzzle piece for the Bubbling Under stage within Astro Bot’s adventure.

Head towards the deeper sections of the vast ocean, beyond the initial platform at the entrance, where you’ll encounter three peculiar-looking opponents that seem to have long pasta strands emerging from their heads. Don’t worry, they won’t cause harm, so they can be considered more like challenges than enemies. However, by utilizing your Penguin companion, you can collide with them for a reward of coins. Successfully bump into each one of them, and the third puzzle piece in Bubbling Under will become yours.
