As a seasoned Astro Bot player with countless hours under my belt, I can confidently say that the Balloon Breeze stage is a delightful challenge for any platforming enthusiast. With its vibrant graphics and intricate level design, it’s no wonder this stage has become a fan favorite in the Camelot-themed world of Astro Bot: Rescue Mission.
As a gamer, I discovered Balloon Breeze hidden within the Camo Cosmos system, but only after I successfully navigated through the Hieroglitch Pyramid stage. This level is packed with ten items in all – seven adorable Astro Bots and three Puzzle Pieces to collect. Plus, there’s a secret passage that leads me to a thrilling new adventure in Lost Galaxy!
Locating all the Bots and Puzzle Pieces isn’t overly difficult, but identifying the hidden exit of Balloon Breeze’s secret location is often a tough task for Astro Bot players. This is because they need to retrace their steps quite early in the level. Keeping this in mind, this guide should come in handy.
Balloon Breeze Puzzle Piece #1
As a gamer, I found myself standing at the start of the stage, with my eyes peeled for the first piece of the Balloon Breeze Puzzle. To my delight, it was perched on top of a flower, just out of reach. But fear not! A helpful red ladybug ally came to the rescue, allowing me to hop onto its back and soar up high enough to grab that elusive piece.
Balloon Breeze Bot #1
At the start, a robot (referred to as a ‘Bot’) is suspended from a violet blossom, closely adjacent to the initial Puzzle Piece on the stage. To grab it, players must employ the aid of a friendly insect enemy, specifically a ladybug.
Balloon Breeze Portal / Secret Exit
Following the acquisition of a pufferfish power-up from a colossal robot, players need to rotate and search for a distant island floating above. By employing the ladybug adversary, Astro’s rockets, and the pufferfish power-up, they can reach this floating landmass. Upon reaching it, they’ll discover a blue blossom. If they execute a spinning punch while standing beside the flower, another floating island will materialize, which players can access using the pufferfish power-up. Once there, they should utilize the disc-launching gadget to chop down the bamboo and then use Astro’s rockets to circumnavigate the edge of the circular platform to uncover the hidden Balloon Breeze Lost Galaxy warp portal.
Balloon Breeze Bot #2
Once players acquire the pufferfish boost, they’ll discover a tribute to the main character from the Klonoa games, in the form of a Bot, perched atop the huge robot.
Balloon Breeze Puzzle Piece #2
Shortly following this event, players will find themselves on a drifting isle inhabited by two pufferfish adversaries. Near a wooden platform on the left side of the island, there are two cables emerging from the ground. Should they tug at the one on the left, they’ll reveal another Balloon Breeze Puzzle Piece.
Balloon Breeze Bot #3
Moving forward, a colossal robot is going to employ a watering can to foster blooms from the soil in the upcoming location. Once this is accomplished, gamers will spot a Bot attached to a violet blossom on their left side.
Balloon Breeze Bot #4
A short while into the game’s progression, the stage will feature a platform adorned with a central flowerpot and a large yellow caterpillar. Employing the pufferfish power-up on this creature will cause it to shrink, creating an opportunity for players to free a character modeled after Boku from “Boku no Natsuyasumi,” who is concealed within the flowerpot.
Balloon Breeze Bot #5
Following the rescue of the Boku Bot, players will need to employ the pufferfish power-boost to navigate into the giant robot’s watering can. Inside this vessel, they’ll encounter the fifth Balloon Breeze Bot floating about.
Balloon Breeze Bot #6
As I soar through the sky, I find myself being gently escorted by a buzzing bee adversary over an enchanting floating isle adorned with two vibrant mushrooms.
Balloon Breeze Puzzle Piece #3
The final Balloon Breeze Puzzle Piece is floating above a giant blue inflatable whale in the final section of the stage.
Balloon Breeze Bot #7
Right after snatching the last Puzzle Piece from the stage, I found myself scrambling up a whirling daisy with stripes of white and yellow. To its right, a fluffy cloud loomed, harboring my final target – the Balloon Breeze Bot perched on top.
