As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the latest addition to Astro Bot: Rescue Mission, Djinny of the Lamp, is nothing short of a delightful adventure! The game’s unique blend of platforming and puzzle-solving keeps me hooked, and the cameo bots based on beloved characters from Gravity Rush only add to the excitement.
In the Feather Cluster system, you’ll come across Djinny the Genie, one of the toughest levels in Astro Bot. To conquer it completely, gamers must discover seven robots, three puzzle piece fragments, and a hidden entrance to a warp zone. This warp zone will grant access to an entirely new stage within the Lost Galaxy.
Most of the collectibles in Djinny of the Lamp are not too difficult to track down, but there are a handful that will require Astro Bot players to think outside of the box. Thankfully, the secret exit is right at the end of the stage, so they can at least forget about that for the time being.
Djinny of the Lamp Puzzle Piece #1
In the Lamp Puzzle, you’ll discover the initial Jinn figure when soaring above the stage, riding a Double Speeder. This tiny whirlwind that sweeps across the screen from left to right is carrying it along.

At the beginning of the stage, you’ll encounter a monkey who resembles a snake charmer and carries a golden pot. If players manage to defeat all nearby adversaries, a blue rope will magically appear from the pot, allowing them to ascend and reach the structure overhead. Up there, they’ll come across a cameo figure modeled after Jaster Rogue from Rogue Galaxy.

In one of the floating pots, you’ll find the next robot. If you manage to eliminate all the foes near the monkey on the red and yellow stool, the monkey will drop the pots, giving you a chance to save the trapped robot.

In this puzzle, the second piece resembling Djinny from the Lamp is perched atop a metallic girder, elevated well over the performance space on the stage.

Once you navigate through Djinny’s sandstorm, players can discover a robot modeled after Kat from Gravity Rush, perched atop an airplane.

Shortly after picking up the dog power-up, players will encounter a room with three rabbit adversaries. Should they smash the pots situated on the right side of this room, they’ll uncover a gold disc embedded in the wall. Rushing into this area will unlock a fresh section, within which they’ll discover the sixth Djinny of the Lamp Bot desperately clinging on.

The robot located on stage next is gripping a purple umbrella, positioned to the right side beyond the initial golden bell. Gamers can access it conveniently by utilizing the surrounding spinning blocks.

In the climax of Djinny of the Lamp, the last missing puzzle piece is concealed within a pot placed upon an elevated stage adorned by a colossal golden bell, not to mention those pesky little creatures that cling onto Astro. However, these nuisances can be dislodged only when Astro executes a spinning punch.

Towards the final part of the level, players encounter a rotating X-like construction. Beyond this structure lies a checkpoint and another golden dog disc. On the reverse side of the X, they’ll find a platform they can leap onto, granting them access to a cameo character modeled after Raven from Gravity Rush, situated higher up.
Djinny of the Lamp Portal / Secret Exit
To find the hidden exit of the Genie’s Lamp, players should first vanquish the Genie as per regular gameplay. Instead of exiting through the common passage, they need to search for a ledge on the right-hand wall. By employing nimble jumping techniques and utilizing the dog charge power-up, they can ascend onto the back wall within the area. This will reveal a compacted magic carpet. When players strike the carpet, it unfurls, allowing them to mount it and soar upwards towards an elevated location. This secret journey concludes at the Genie of the Lamp Lost Galaxy warp portal.
