Atelier Yumia: How To Purify Manabound Arbor Botanical Garden

  • Removing The Barrier

Atelier Yumia’s investigations are primarily centered around cleansing mana-rich areas. Each major area and sub-region features a unique focal point that requires interaction for the purification of the mana.

As you move forward in the initial stages of the tale, you’ll find it necessary to cleanse the Dux Lighthouse, a crucial component that acts as a foundation for this particular gameplay feature.

In many areas rich with life, known as biomes, there’s a need for cleansing. One such place is the Arbor Botanical Garden, which, like all others, requires a solution to a mystery in order to be made pure again.

Let’s dive straight into discussing ways to clean up the Arbor Botanical Garden at Atelier Yumia, ensuring your journey remains on a progressive track.

Skipping any formalities, let’s explore how we can tidy up the Arbor Botanical Garden in Atelier Yumia, so your path to progress continues uninterrupted.

Where Is Arbor Botanical Garden?

The focal area we’re discussing plays a significant role in the primary storyline’s progression. Unlike some areas tied to mana, which don’t factor into the narrative, the Arbor Botanical Garden stands out as a crucial location. As such, you’ll find yourself there naturally during your journey through the story.

Although essential for the plot, the Arbor Botanical Garden, nestled in the Ligneus Region by the Rhizoma Thicket, can be somewhat tricky to navigate. Towering trees often obstruct the trail, and at times, you might find yourself disoriented as you search for it.

The cliffs are difficult to access since there’s no way to climb in the game. Instead, you must depend on your double jump skill to get to challenging spots.

Instead of going through complex routes, head towards the zipline situated to the right of the Rhizoma Thicket as shown on the map. Repair this zipline first, and then use it as a means of transportation to quickly reach the Arbor Botanical Garden, making your journey more straightforward.

Because you need to fix just the one location close to Margo Woodlands, it’s more convenient to access than our main point of focus.

Removing The Barrier

You need to solve a mini-puzzle before activating the Arbor Botanical Garden.

The puzzle isn’t difficult at all; just grab two blocks and place them on the designated platforms. One of them can be found in the structure to your left, and it’s there along with a padlocked box as well.

Go to the room to the right and find a red cube.

Shoot the three lights with your gun to unlock the chest. All three lights are in the vicinity.

Unfortunately, the pressure plate can’t be placed immediately since it’s secured behind a gate. To unlock the gate, aim for the switch within the room by firing at it first. Once you’ve done that, pick up the cube and move it to the pressure plate. Problem solved!

To find the final cube, return to the pedestal and look for another cube positioned to your left. It’s quite straightforward; there isn’t any tricky puzzle or intricate mechanism involved.

Once you stack these two cubes on top of each other, the barrier will vanish. In case you’re unsure about their location, pay attention to the red wavy line emanating from the pedestal. This line will lead you to the cubes.

Did you know? You can activate the pedestal without advancing the quest line first! I actually cleansed the Arbor Botanical Garden before the main story guided me here, so go ahead and give it a try whenever suits you.
