Atomfall Midsummer Isle Map
The map of Atomfall’s Midsummer Isle encompasses the entire area presented in the Atomfall: Story Expansion Pack Wicked Isle. In this expanded region, players can discover brand-new items (even some fresh weapons), learn new abilities (and the necessary Training Stimulants to enhance them), and for those who like to complete everything, there are two additional endings available.
The island known as Midsummer Isle isn’t without its perils – there are marauding bandits, mysterious druids, and frighteningly altered fungal monstrosities lurking about the territory. For those adventurous souls willing to delve into this zone, there await some truly lucrative treasures.
Notable Midsummer Isle Locations
On Midsummer Isle, here’s a rundown of the key spots worth visiting, along with some insights into what you might encounter at each location. Enjoy your exploration!
Abandoned Village
Upon your arrival at Midsummer Isle, The Forgotten Settlement serves as your initial point of entry. While it is technically a secure zone, it’s important to note that Aquatic Wildlife lurks in the nearby waters, and there’s a possibility of encountering Lake Brigands patrolling the surroundings.
Abbey Crypt
As a gamer, I stumbled upon the mysterious Abbey Crypt on Midsummer Isle, a place shrouded in mystery since an ancient fragment of Oberon meteorite fell there centuries ago. Unfortunately, the room I need to explore within the crypt is currently locked, and I’ll have to track down four different keys to unlock it and uncover the secrets that lie within.
Abbey Ruins
The ancient Abbey Remains are now controlled by the Rogue Abbey Druids, a breakaway group of Druids tainted by the very same fungus infecting the Wild Beasts. Tread carefully in this region (it would be wise to carry plenty of ammunition as well).
Abbot’s House
At the Abbey’s Residence, you’ll find a largely deserted area. However, if you’ve obtained some of the “Angel’s Elixir” from the Brewery Cellar – reachable once you advance with Bill Anderson’s questline – you might catch glimpses of ghostly apparitions.
B.A.R.D. Testing Grounds
At the B.A.R.D. Testing Grounds, you might discover some valuables, but it’s mostly an uninteresting, sparsely populated location.
Brewery Cellar
In the heart of the brewery lies the “Angel’s Essence,” an extraordinary component for mead, derived from fungi. This mysterious substance is known to bestow players with fresh abilities.
Brewery Orchard
At the heart of Brewery Orchard dwells the Beekeeper, an enhanced combatant equipped with a distinctive weapon and aided by a cloud of buzzing bees.
Cellar Hideout
As a devoted admirer, allow me to share that The Cellar Hideout serves as my personal headquarters – the launching point for my seafaring expeditions, which whisk me away from the tranquil shores of Wyndham Village all the way to the mystical Midsummer Isle aboard my trusty boat.
Chemical Testing Bunker
The Abandoned B.A.R.D. Facility Known as the Chemical Testing Bunker can only be ventured into after unlocking the right doors in order. Be cautious, as it houses roughly a dozen Thralls. It’s wise to approach this place when you have an ample supply of ammunition or if you’re skilled in melee combat against these tough enemies.
Investigating this site is vital, as it’s connected to one of the two fresh conclusions unveiled in the Wicked Isle expansion pack.
Flooded Cellar
In the Drowned Basement, there’s quite a stash of treasures hidden away, along with a concealed cache of Training Enhancers, securely stored behind a locked barrier.
Harvesting Cave
As a devoted follower, I can’t help but feel a thrill when speaking about The Harvesting Cave – our hidden sanctuary, nestled in the heart of this mystical land. It’s a dangerous place, teeming with adversaries within, but also brimming with treasures just waiting to be claimed. In there, I’ve found myself not only acquiring a fresh weapon or two but also scoring some valuable Training Stimulants for my arsenal. The Abbey Druids surely know where the best pickings are!
Infested Forest
In simpler terms, “The Infested Forest serves as the outer base for the Abbey Druids. While there may be some valuable items found here, it is mostly a transit point en route to the Harvesting Cave.
Lake Bandit Den
As a gamer, I’d put it this way: “The hideout of Jean Hamer, the friendly yet formidable leader of the Lake Bandits, can be found within the Lake Bandit Den. If she likes you, she’s a helpful merchant. Inside, you might stumble upon the Abbot’s Head and a Training Stimulant – if you’re stealthy enough to avoid a fight, or brave enough to take on the entire bandit crew.
Lime Kilns
Primarily, the Lime Kilns are where you can observe one of the captivating scenes that become accessible following the consumption of the Angel’s Essence.
Observatory Tower
From the Observatory Tower, you can gather hints about Midsummer Isle. Unfortunately, there’s not much else here that might catch your attention.
Scriptorium Ruins
One of the places to discover some additional insights about Midsummer Isle is the Scriptorium Ruins.
Trader Camp
The Trader Camp is home to Jenny Coggins, one of two new traders on Midsummer Isle.
Wyndham Village
In the southwestern part of Midsummer Isle, there’s a tiny blue boat stationed, ready to ferry you back to Wyndham Village once you’ve made your way onto the island.
