In the unexpectedly sunlit Northern English landscape known as Atomfall, Radio Towers dominate every region except Wyndham Village. However, it’s only when you advance the Joyce Tanner Lead within Atomfall that you can reactivate these Radio Towers.
After earning Joyce Tanner’s confidence and receiving the task of reactivating every Radio Tower, Atomfall presents an additional challenge. Besides locating each Radio Tower, you must also find a keycard for every station to activate it. Fortunately, each Radio Tower’s keycard is usually nearby its corresponding tower.
What Happens After Activating All Atomfall Radio Towers?
While it’s suggested to turn on the Slatten Dale, Casterfell Woods, and Skethermoor Radio Towers sequentially as mentioned, feel free to activate the Atomfall Radio Towers in whichever sequence suits you best.
When you trigger the third Radio Tower, an encoded message will sound across the area instead of the usual voice of Joyce Tanner. However, after activating the first and second towers, Joyce Tanner will contact you through the intercom.
Go back to Joyce Tanner in Data Store Charlie within the Interchange and decide whether to address this peculiar message or carry on working with her. If you opt for the latter, she’ll guide you towards retrieving some misplaced files close to Casterfell Dam, which will unveil the ‘Escape’ Lead’s Joyce Tanner ending when accomplished.
Slatten Dale Radio Tower Location
As a fan, I’d like to share that the first Radio Tower location I stumbled upon in my gaming journey is nestled in the picturesque Slatten Dale. If you venture east within the zone, you’ll discover the Slatten Dale Radio Tower at coordinates 31E, 75.0N on your map.
Although you might come across the Slatten Dale Radio Tower quite early in the game, it’s important to note that this structure is particularly hazardous due to being located right in the heart of an area teeming with Outlaws.
You have two options here: Either sneak past the camp unnoticed, or take down the Outlaws discreetly, one at a time, to minimize drawing excessive attention.
Grenades can be helpful here, especially if you can get to high ground and toss one from stealth.
Upon arriving at and unlocking the Slatten Dale Radio Tower, Atomfall players need to locate the Slatten Dale Radio Tower Keycard in order to activate it.
Slatten Dale Radio Tower Keycard Location
A note left by the switch at Slatten Dale Radio Tower provides directions on how to obtain the keycard. Generally, keycards for all Radio Towers within Atomfall are located in close proximity. In this instance, you can discover the Slatten Dale Radio Tower Keycard inside a cave linked to the quarry situated to the tower’s west.
As a gamer, I’d say: “Leave the Outlaw Camp behind and head towards the rock quarry, but watch out for those pesky leeches lurking in the water. Make your way to the central metal beam in the quarry, then dash towards the cave entrance to the east.
Proceed into the cave to discover a scientist’s corpse holding the Slatten Dale Radio Tower Keycard. Return to the radio tower located higher up to trigger the initial Atomfall Radio Tower location by presenting this keycard.
Casterfell Woods Radio Tower Location

Players looking for the second Radio Tower named “Atomfall” should make their way to the one located within Casterfell Woods. This Radio Tower is positioned right in the heart of the zone, directly above the main north-south road, and can be found at coordinates 24.4E, 89.3N on your map.
Head northward following the central route, keep an eye out for a radio tower on your right, situated atop a hill. Ascend the winding path to reach the summit and encounter two Outlaws stationed beside a locked door. Handle the Outlaws as you see fit, using a grenade can be quite effective in this situation. Once they’re taken care of, open the lock to gain access to the Casterfell Woods Radio Tower.
Just like other Radio Towers scattered across Atomfall, locating the Keycard for the one hidden in Casterfell Woods is essential if you wish to activate it.
Casterfell Woods Radio Tower Keycard Location
In simpler terms, obtaining the Casterfell Woods Radio Tower Keycard is straightforward since it’s connected to Joyce Tanner’s quest. Once you activate the Interchange, this leads Tanner to Data Store Charlie. Following this, players in Atomfall can acquire the key to Bunker L9, which is conveniently situated to the west of the Radio Tower.
Please utilize this keycard to gain access to Bunker L9 at longitude 23.3E and latitude 90.6N. Keep in mind that Bunker L9 houses dormant Ferals, so tread cautiously as you delve into the potentially hazardous premises. Search for a metallic staircase ascending to an area resembling an overseer’s office.
After pulling the lever, make your way to the staircase leading to the upper level, located to your left. You’ll discover the Casterfell Woods Radio Tower Keycard resting on a table nearby, along with a Training Stimulant. To the front of the Ventilation Override lever, there’s a crawlspace, but for convenience, take the stairs instead.
Return the keycard to the eastern Radio Tower (which is the Skethermoor tower) to turn on the remaining active radio tower. Only one more remains to be activated.
Skethermoor Radio Tower Location

In simpler terms, you’ll usually encounter the Radio Tower at Skethermoor towards the end of your exploration. It’s not overly difficult to get to. You can find this Radio Tower location to the south of the Vehicle Storage Bunker, which is situated in the far southeastern part of Skethermoor. It’s a quick walk east from there, just past the Skethermoor Prison complex located in the southwestern region. The exact coordinates are 34.1E, 73.6N.
This way, we’ve provided a more accessible description of the location and made it easier for players to understand where to find the Radio Tower in Skethermoor.
From afar, you can spot the Radio Tower in Skethermoor, since the area is largely flat and barren. Upon reaching the tower’s peak, you’ll come across a note detailing the whereabouts of the Skethermoor Radio Tower Keycard. Luckily, this keycard isn’t located too far from your current position.
Skethermoor Radio Tower Keycard Location
The Keycard for Skethermoor Radio Tower is tucked inside a Protocol bunker situated to the north of the Radio Tower. Follow the path heading north and be cautious as you may encounter Protocol units. You’ll find your destination, the Vehicle Storage Bunker, at coordinates 43.4E, 74.6N.
As a fan, I’d advise you to remember that entering the Vehicle Storage Bunker is off-limits. To minimize detection, either sneak in quietly or neutralize Protocol units before they become a threat. Opt for stealth takedowns and use the bow to maintain silence within this restricted zone.
Investigate the underground shelter, take advantage of the hidden areas like hatches and small passages to stay concealed. You’ll discover the Skethermoor Radio Tower Keycard tucked away on a desk in a conference-like setting.
First, grab it, and afterward, make your way back to the Skethermoor Radio Tower spot to activate the third and last Radio Tower within the game Atomfall.
