Atomfall Reaches 1.5 Million Players in Less Than a Week

Since its debut on March 27th, Rebellion Developments’ game Atomfall has received a remarkable response, with over 1.5 million players so far. In an interview with IGN, this was revealed to be the studio’s most successful launch ever, which is particularly noteworthy given that it’s a new intellectual property.

Jason Kingsley, both CEO and co-founder, expressed his joy that over a million players are enjoying Atomfall. This swift achievement reflects the team’s creativity and commitment at Rebellion. Given our size and stability, we have the freedom to take risks and create something as unique as Atomfall. It’s rewarding to see that this risk is indeed proving successful.

As a UK-based company, our game is a faithful representation of our homeland’s charm. It’s not just backdrop; it’s also deeply influenced by beloved British literature, films, and television shows. We eagerly anticipate your continued immersion in the world of Atomfall and are excited to bring more content to the game in the future.

In addition to consoles and personal computers, Atomfall can be found on Game Pass. Since it’s available through this service, sales figures aren’t readily accessible. However, Rebellion has shared some intriguing statistics. Players have consumed approximately 300,000 cups of tea, over four million pastries, and killed a staggering 3.7 million enemies using the Cricket Bat. It appears that about 316,000 players chose to kill the scientist at the beginning, which might be indicative of a pattern for eliminating every NPC (a thing you can indeed do).

To learn more about Atomfall, don’t forget to read our review, where we awarded it a high score of 9 out of 10. We were particularly impressed by its captivating atmosphere, engaging storyline, excellent voice-acting, and meticulously designed world. Additionally, Rebellion is currently developing an expansion story called Wicked Isle, but the exact release date remains undisclosed for now.
