  • Atomic Heart’s DLC 3 “Enchantment Under the Sea” continues the main story at Facility 3826 underwater
  • New weapons and abilities are introduced in DLC 3, including Thunderclap and KM-4 Kuzmich

As a gamer who’s been through the wringer with countless titles, I must say that Atomic Heart has managed to carve out a unique niche for itself in my gaming library. The upcoming DLC “Enchantment Under the Sea” is another testament to Mundfish’s commitment to delivering an engaging and immersive experience.

Mundfish developer is carrying on the narrative of Atomic Heart with a new expansion, named “Enchantment Under the Sea.” This third DLC pack is scheduled to launch on January 28, 2025, across all gaming platforms.

In the third downloadable content for Atomic Heart, players depart from Limbo and return with Mundfish to Facility 3826, where they’ll delve into a fresh underwater Neptune Research Center. A recently released gameplay trailer offers a tantalizing preview of what lies ahead.

Atomic Heart DLC 3 Will Not Only Continue The Story But Bring New Weapons And Abilities

In the upcoming expansion for Atomic Heart titled “Enchantment Under the Sea,” players will carry on with the main storyline, accompanied by the Twins’ consciousness. Throughout their journey, they’ll encounter both fresh and familiar faces as they delve into the underwater Neptune Research Center in an attempt to find a solution to prevent mankind from facing a grim, gloomy destiny.

In Facility 3826, you’ll recognize some well-known spots, but don’t be surprised if they look a bit different. For instance, the robot-controlled floating city of Chelomey, previously known, is now one of the changes in the DLC.

Aside from the new storyline, players will also be getting new weapons and abilities as well.

Atomic Hearts DLC 3 New Weapons and Abilities

  • Thunderclap – a powerful hammer that amps up damage with electrical current
  • KM-4 Kuzmich – a crowd-clearing double-barrel shotgun with customizable bullet spread
  • Blaze – a burning polymer skill letting players drop red-hot fireballs and deal area-of-effect damage
  • Whip – a grapple-hook tool allowing P-3 to pull himself towards enemies, deal damage, dodge away from danger, and access previously unreachable areas.

In relation to fresh threats, Mundfish introduces “cora mutants” as additional challenges, alongside the recently glimpsed MOR-4Y, which was previewed in a trailer last month.

The third downloadable content (DLC) for Atomic Heart, titled “Enchantment Under the Sea,” has been released by Mundfish. Previously, they had dropped “Annihilation Instinct” and “Trapped in Limbo” as part of the Atomic Pass. Another DLC is on its way, but specifics about it are still under wraps.

In February 2023, Atomic Heart made its debut on last-generation, current-generation consoles, as well as PC platforms. This game, developed by the then-unfamiliar studio Mundfish, turned out to be a surprising success. Our review lauded it for being “a game that’s emerged from more than half a decade of development struggles, transforming into one of the top first-person shooters this generation.

It’s been mentioned informally earlier this year that Mundfish might be working on Atomic Heart 2, however, an official confirmation is still pending.
