Attack on Titan quickly became incredibly popular, captivating millions of viewers with its intense action and intriguing mysteries, all delivered in a well-structured series. Created by Hajime Isayama, the story follows the inhabitants of a remote island as they fight for survival against terrifying creatures known as Titans in a world ravaged by war.
I’ve been watching *Attack on Titan*, and it’s incredible how the characters’ fight for freedom keeps revealing more and more about their world’s hidden past. It turns out there are these massive, terrifying creatures called Titans, and within them, nine distinct types can be passed down to humans. But there’s a huge cost – inheriting one of these Titan powers literally splits a person’s lifespan in half. It got me thinking about which characters would be strong enough to wield such power, and I’ve put together a list of those who I believe could become truly formidable Titan inheritors.
Gabbi Braun
The Skilled Loyalist
Gabi is a divisive character in *Attack on Titan*, sparking strong reactions from fans worldwide after killing Sasha during the attack on Marley. She was a child soldier fighting for Marley, and was likely being trained to become a powerful warrior and potentially inherit one of the Nine Titans.
I’ve seen a lot of fighters, but Gabi was something special. She just *felt* natural in a fight, like it was instinct. Honestly, her skill was impressive, but what really stood out was how fiercely devoted she was to her country. If she’d become a Titan, I think she’d have been terrifying – a lot like Annie, but with even more determination driving her.
Floch Forster
The Dedicated Right Hand
Floch became a surprisingly important character in the final season of *Attack on Titan* as a dedicated follower of Eren. He found purpose in joining Eren’s cause and, despite not being a main character, his unwavering commitment had a lasting effect on the story. Many fans believe Floch would have been an ideal ally for Eren, especially if he’d inherited the Jaw Titan. He would have provided crucial support, even sacrificing himself for Eren’s success. Equipped with the agility of the Jaw Titan or the strength of the Armored Titan, Floch’s fierce dedication would have made him a formidable and unstoppable force.
Dot Pyxis
The Wiseman Of Paradis
I always loved Officer Pyxis from the early seasons of *Attack on Titan*. He just seemed like this incredibly wise, calm presence who could handle anything thrown his way. You could tell he’d been through a lot, and while he wasn’t at his peak anymore, he was still a seriously impressive guy – smart *and* capable in a fight!
Although Pyxis’s death was a great loss, if he had become a Titan shifter, it would have significantly boosted Paradis’s military power. A Titan controlled by someone with Pyxis’s command experience might even have been more dangerous than Zeke Jaeger.
Theo Magath
A Man Of Pure War
Theo Magath was a devoted and steadfast soldier for Marley, rising to the rank of general. He was a fierce and uncompromising fighter known for his strategic mind and ability to lead effectively, both with his troops and on his own.
Theo played a vital role in the fighting skills of both regular soldiers and the Titan warriors. It’s surprising he wasn’t selected as one of Marley’s inheritors of Titan power. If he *had* been the Colossal or Armored Titan, Eren and the Survey Corps would have faced a significantly tougher battle.
Levi Ackerman
The World’s Greatest Soldier
Levi immediately made a strong impression when he first appeared, quickly becoming a central figure in the story. He’s widely considered the most talented soldier in the scouting regiment, effortlessly defeating countless titans.
Levi is incredibly skilled, strong, and determined – qualities that would make him a formidable Titan shifter. He’s a natural fighter who wouldn’t hesitate to finish an opponent, and while he’d be devastatingly effective as a Titan, he wouldn’t enjoy it at all.
Hange Zoe
The Titan Fanatic

Hange’s story in *Attack on Titan* is beloved by fans, but also deeply heartbreaking. Starting as a dedicated researcher for the Scout Regiment and later becoming a commander, Hange spent her life working towards humanity’s freedom. She believed the key to escaping the walled cities and the threat of the Titans lay in understanding the Titans themselves.
Hange was fascinated by Titans, almost to an obsessive degree, and possessed a deep understanding of their strengths and weaknesses. This knowledge, combined with her respect for them, would have made her a natural successor to whoever held the Titan power, allowing her to unlock their full capabilities with careful study.
Erwin Smith
The Greatest Leader Of All Mankind
Commander Erwin was a highly respected leader, serving as the thirteenth commander of the Scout Regiment. He was a brilliant strategist who dreamed of a better future for humanity. Erwin faced danger without hesitation, always carrying the responsibility for what was to come. His exceptional tactical skills would have made him a powerful Titan shifter, particularly suited to control either the Beast Titan or the Colossal Titan. He envisioned using their destructive power strategically to liberate Paradis Island and uncover the truth with his fellow soldiers.
