Ending the Franchise in Cinematic Fashion

Final Attack on Titan: A Big-Screen Debut”
On February 10, the big-screen debut of “Final Attack on Titan: The Last Attack” took place in both US and Canadian cinemas. This was the first time the “Attack on Titan” franchise graced the silver screen. Yuichiro Hayashi directed the film, with scripts penned by Hiroshi Seko, character designs by Tomohiro Kishi, music composed by KOHTA YAMAMOTO and Hiroyuki Sawano. The movie amalgamates content from “Attack on Titan Final Season: The Final Chapters” parts 1 and 2, which were aired in March and November of 2023 respectively. In addition to this material, the film includes extra content, such as a post-credits scene inspired by the “Attack on Titan School Castes,” an alternate universe short manga that was included at the end of each volume of Hajime Isayama’s original manga, which was published in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine from 2009 to 2021. The first season of “Attack on Titan” aired from April to September 2013. The second season followed after a four-year wait, airing in April 2017. This was then followed by the two-part third season in July 2018 and April 2019. The fourth season, “Attack on Titan: The Final Season,” commenced airing in December 2020 and concluded with a series of comically conclusive installments before “The Final Chapters” aired in 2023.
Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK is now available to stream on Crunchyroll.
