As a seasoned Lego enthusiast who’s been building and battling my way through galaxies since the late ’80s, I can confidently say that August 2024 is shaping up to be the holy grail of Lego months!

Introduced to markets in 1949, the LEGO brand has significantly evolved over the past 75 years, surpassing its initial objectives. Today, LEGO is recognized as one of the leading toy manufacturers globally. Its construction sets, now numbering many themes – both original and licensed – span across popular franchises such as Star Wars, Marvel, DC, and Super Mario.

Although LEGO’s never-ending stream of real-world sets is undoubtedly its main source of income, it’s important to note that the company offers more than just these sets. Over time, LEGO has dedicated significant effort into creating a variety of family-friendly video games. These games often are based on popular movie franchises, which have helped attract new fans. This August, there’s plenty for those fans to be excited about!

August 2024 Is a Huge Month for LEGO Fans

August 2024’s Humble Bundle is a LEGO Fan’s Dream

For those who may not be familiar, Humble Bundle is a popular online marketplace for digital PC games, particularly recognized for its special deals called bundles. These bundles include several games, and customers have the flexibility to pay whatever amount they choose, with a share of the earnings donated to a chosen charity. In the gaming world, LEGO has made appearances in Humble Bundle multiple times, but the selection for August 2024 stands out, featuring an impressive 18 LEGO games at an incredibly affordable price.

2024’s “LEGO World Collide: The Ultimate Build-Up” Humble Bundle is divided into three exciting levels! As a diehard fan, I can’t wait to dive in! The initial level offers an incredible collection of five distinct LEGO video games. Among them are my personal favorites like the original LEGO Batman, LEGO Marvel Superheroes, and LEGO Harry Potter. Not only that, but it also includes LEGO Lord of the Rings and The LEGO Movie Videogame. With a mere few dollars, I’ll be able to add these iconic games to my collection!

For a small additional cost, you’ll find yourself with five extra LEGO video games in the mid-tier package. These include LEGO Marvel’s Avengers, LEGO Batman 2, and LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7. If you’re a die-hard fan, you can grab a whopping 18 LEGO games for $15 more. This collection includes newer releases like LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2, LEGO Batman 3, LEGO DC Super-Villains, and LEGO Worlds. As an added bonus, each tier comes with an 85% discount voucher for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga on the Humble Store.

August 2024’s PlayStation Plus Free Games Have Something Big for LEGO Fans

Gamers who prefer consoles over PCs won’t miss out on excitement this August either. Subscribers of PlayStation Plus will have the opportunity to claim their three free monthly games. The highlight of the August PS Plus selection is “LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga“, the latest and most expansive LEGO game from TT Games. Players on both PS4 and PS5 can secure this game and hold onto it as long as their subscription remains active with PlayStation Plus.

A Plethora of New LEGO Sets Release This August
