Koyoharu Gotouge’s “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” initially appeared as a manga in “Weekly Shonen Jump” back in 2016 and wrapped up in 2020, covering 23 volumes. The anime version, produced by Ufotable, made its debut in April 2019 and soon gained massive popularity worldwide. Renowned for its stunning visuals, heartfelt narratives, and pulse-pounding action scenes, the series has significantly influenced contemporary shonen anime. Its outstanding achievement, culminating in “Demon Slayer: Mugen Train” breaking box office records to become the highest-grossing anime film ever made, cemented its status in anime lore.
Rarely do we see a day one game added to PS Plus Extra, but it’s always a reason to cheer when it does! Surprisingly, April 2025 offers not just one, but two day one games for PS Plus subscribers to explore. Additionally, these titles will be accompanied by several other games in the PS Plus Extra catalog and a couple of classic games for the Premium tier of the service.

The filmmaker has confirmed that a top-notch script for the sequel is nearly finished. If everything proceeds smoothly, filming could commence as soon as this summer, and fans may return to the deserts of Arrakis for Dune: Messiah around late 2026. The third installment in the Dune trilogy will see the return of several familiar characters such as Timothée Chalamet (Paul Atreides), Zendaya (Chani), and Florence Pugh (Princess Irulan). Characters presumed dead, like Jason Momoa’s Duncan Idaho, might make a comeback in an unspecified form. However, Villeneuve will not be back for more after Dune: Messiah. The director has stated that the later books in Frank Herbert’s series seem underwhelming and stray from the artistic and thematic vision he had for the saga.
As excitedly shared through Xbox Wire’s official update, I eagerly await the global premiere of the Xbox Games Showcase 2025, set to stream live on Sunday, June 8th, starting at 10 AM Pacific Time (PT) or 1 PM Eastern Time (ET). Can’t wait to see what gaming marvels they have in store for us!
It appears that the Taiwan rating board has given a nod to the fact that one beloved PS2 game is expected to make its way to both PS4 and PS5 in the near future. Generally speaking, if a video game’s title is listed on an official country’s ratings board, it’s indicative of its authenticity as Sony must submit such games to the regulatory body for rating assessment prior to their announcement.
Before the release, there was a lot of faith in the upcoming game “Hogwarts Legacy“, but just how successful it would be wasn’t entirely clear. This is suggested by the fact that the game seems to have wrapped up all major plot threads before the end credits, leaving little room for a direct sequel. On one hand, this means that the future of the “Hogwarts Legacy” franchise is less certain than it might have been; however, it also opens up a vast array of possibilities for Avalanche Software. Future installments of “Hogwarts Legacy” may not be bound by the setting, tone, or storyline of the original game, giving Avalanche more creative freedom when developing potential sequels like “Hogwarts Legacy 2“. One idea from the DLC of “Elden Ring“, specifically “Shadow of the Erdtree“, could be particularly beneficial in terms of gameplay for future “Hogwarts Legacy” games.
