It’s been a long time since Minecraft introduced a new golem – players have only had the iron and snow golems for years, making this a noteworthy event. This is especially true considering the copper golem’s unique function: sorting items for players. However, this isn’t quite what Mojang initially presented when they first proposed the copper golem during the 2021 Mob Vote. Since then, Mojang has significantly changed the golem’s primary purpose, and while some may see that as a drawback, the final version is still a great addition to the game.

When Ghost of Tsushima came out five years ago, the world was heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, but Jin Sakai’s story actually made getting through lockdown much more bearable for me. So, naturally, I was thrilled when Ghost of Yotei was announced last year. I was excited not just by the new main character, Atsu, but also by the jump forward in time and the introduction of new weapons. Thankfully, Ghost of Yotei has lived up to those expectations, but I’ve found myself wishing for one thing from Ghost of Tsushima: a story that focused more on a straightforward, linear path.

I’m really enjoying how One Piece is finally showing us the legendary figures fans have been wanting to see, all thanks to the Loki flashback. After so many years, Oda has delivered a truly fantastic flashback, and it’s been amazing to be introduced to so many powerful characters at their peak. The God Valley flashback has been absolutely incredible so far, and it’s clear Oda carefully chose the most formidable fighters of that era to be on that island. Even if they weren’t *all* at their absolute strongest, it’s obvious they were all very capable warriors.

However, grinding isn’t always a negative experience in games. When players invest time improving their stats and become significantly more powerful, they often enjoy the rewarding feeling of easily defeating their enemies. This sense of accomplishment can make the effort worthwhile, turning what might have been tedious into a satisfying experience. It’s about the payoff after all!

Okay, so unlike some other monster-raising games out there – you know the ones – leveling up my Digimon in Digimon Story Time Stranger isn’t just about grinding and filling up an EXP bar. It’s way more involved! It’s about carefully building up their stats, sometimes even breaking them down a bit, and really guiding them to become stronger. It’s about actively shaping how they grow, which is awesome.

So, I recently saw a video from Yoshiki Okamoto – he used to work at Capcom – and he’s come out pretty strongly against Palworld and the lawsuit Nintendo has filed. Basically, he thinks it’s wrong to play the game Palworld while things are still being sorted out legally. He feels that “by playing it (Palworld), you are supporting it. So please don’t buy it.” It’s definitely stirred up a lot of discussion among us gamers, and a lot of people are giving Okamoto some flak for saying that.

With Patch 11.1.7, WoW at last included Battle for Azeroth in the Timewalking expansion lineup. This followed the addition of Classic Timewalking during the 20th anniversary event in Patch 11.0.5. To mark this special moment, World of Warcraft also launched a new Turbulent Timeways event, highlighting the new dungeons and the rewards you can earn.
