As a diehard gaming enthusiast, I can’t contain my excitement about the diverse lineup of games offered by PS Plus for 2025! Right now, the free games available in April are still waiting to be claimed, and they truly showcase the incredible variety this service has to offer. In April alone, we have three fantastic titles: a gripping first-person shooter called “RoboCop: Rogue City”, an unsettling asymmetric multiplayer horror game titled “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre”, and the engaging role-playing game “Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory”.

Moving forward to May, starting from the 6th, we have another fantastic selection of games that span various genres. Among them, one title has really piqued my interest!

Over time, The Simpson’s brand has been featured in numerous video games for various platforms and game types. Among these, The Simpsons: Tapped Out stood out as a fan favorite. In this game, players took on the challenge of rebuilding Springfield after Homer accidentally wrecked it. They completed missions, constructed buildings, and interacted with characters from the beloved TV series. Seasonal events and updates in Tapped Out introduced new characters and content, making the game even more engaging. The announcement of its shutdown left players feeling as if they’d been splashed with cold water. Now, some are trying to find similar games, but nothing quite fills the void created by The Simpsons’ mobile success.

This week, Nintendo Switch’s Version 20.0.0 update arrived, bringing a major shift by introducing the GameShare feature. Although it can only function on the Switch 2 model, this innovative addition lets owners of the original Switch play compatible games without needing to own the game copies themselves. Starting with games like Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal, each main Pokemon game has introduced new Pokemon specific to the title’s unique region. However, the number of new Pokemon unveiled in each generation varies; Gen 2 introduced 100, Gen 3 – 135, and Gen 4 – 107. In Pokemon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2, Game Freak upped the ante, introducing a record-breaking 156 new Pokemon. Due to the vast number of new Pokemon introduced in Gen 5, Game Freak decided to debut only 72 new Pokemon in X and Y.

If you’re searching for a show that offers a power fantasy with an overpowered protagonist, but also presents an interesting twist on the genre, The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows might be just what you’re looking for. At first glance, the main character appears to be weak due to his healer role, but in reality, he is incredibly powerful and frequently leaves his opponents stunned with how effortlessly he wins battles.

These games usually present multiple ways to resolve issues, thereby encouraging intricate decision-making that often fosters creative problem-solving and ample room for player self-expression, offering a high degree of freedom in the process.

In a similar manner to how Sony and Kojima Productions assembled an enticing bundle for the Death Stranding 2 Collector’s Edition, Sony and Sucker Punch Productions have created an appealing set of goodies to attract fans,. Owners of the Collector’s Edition will receive digital bonuses that accompany standard preorders and Digital Deluxe versions of the game.
