Before the Dreamhaven exhibition, I had the chance to play “Wildgate” for a few hours, and despite the premise appearing familiar (it’s an artifact from an old space civilization), “Wildgate” is definitely enjoyable. Although players will uncover more lore as they progress through the game, given that the game world is thoroughly developed from its history to why we are competing for the artifact, my focus in this preview is on gameplay. Basically, each game consists of five teams, with each team comprising four players. Together, they explore a mystifying part of space called The Reach in search of The Artifact. Essentially, it’s a PvEvP experience where other teams and the environment create constant challenges for a group to triumph over and win by any means possible.

The Demon Castle, with its 100 levels, was where potent demons dwelled, among them Baran, the Demon King. Monarchs are often the most powerful figures in the world of Solo Leveling, but surprisingly, Jin-Woo managed to vanquish one of them. Could this be just a testament to how formidable Jin-Woo truly is?

Towards the closing of the Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase, as the Title Update 2 text appeared, we were treated to aquatic noises and distinct clawed footsteps, along with a hint of scales in the air. These indications seem to point towards the return of Lagiacrus, a monster that many hunters have been eagerly anticipating battling once more for quite some time.

In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the increased focus on stealth has had a mixed impact. While this enhances the overall stealth experience, it appears to have diminished the parkour element, which is usually celebrated in the Assassin’s Creed series. Although parkour features remain and have been enhanced with new animations, they no longer match their former glory. This might be forgivable considering the improved stealth mechanics that the game now showcases.
