If you’ve splurged on the Avowed Premium Edition or the Premium Upgrade and have been playing it via Game Pass, this news is for you!
The Premium Upgrade and the Premium Edition come with an exclusive collection of premium skin packs to customize both myself and my companions. However, please note that these aren’t instantly accessible. It seems there’s a bit more adventure to be had before we can don our new virtual threads!
What skin packs are included in the Avowed Premium Edition and Premium Upgrade?
In plain terms, both the Declared Premium Version and the Premium Enhancement Add-On provide you with the Obsidian and Eora armor collections for your characters, as well as the Eora and Obsidian Collection costumes for your companions.
How to access the Avowed Premium Skin Packs
After establishing your Party Camp at a Waystone, you’ll be able to retrieve both the Obsidian and Eora armor sets from the Party Stash located within your Party Camp.
How to change costumes in Avowed
Once you’ve retrieved the skin packs and armor from the communal storage at the Party Camp, you have the option to alter your companions’ attire at the Main Tent within the Party Camp. For your personal armor, you can wear it directly from the inventory interface. Both armor sets are classified as unique items.
- The Obsidian set includes: Obsidian Order Cuirass, Obsidian Order Gauntlets, and the Obsidian Order Sabatons.
- The Eora set includes: Engwithan Cuirass, Engwithan Gauntlets, and the Engwithan Greaves.

When can you access the Avowed Premium Skin Packs?
After completing the prologue and arriving at Claviger’s Landing, you will converse with some Non-Player Characters (NPCs) and subsequently discover a radiant Waystone during your exploration (or as indicated on the map provided below). Engage with this to establish a Party Camp. Once that is set up, you can retrieve costumes and armor from the Party Stash.
Can you upgrade to the Avowed Premium Edition from the base game or Game Pass version?
After the game becomes available on Steam, you can purchase an upgrade directly from its store page. If you’re playing on Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass, you can also buy the upgrade through that platform. It is important to keep in mind that the early access part of the Premium Upgrade will not be valid if purchased after the game’s launch.
