Afterward, you’ll receive a prompt asking if you’re certain about dismantling the gear. Click ‘yes’, and you’ll then acquire the materials that result from breaking it down.

Alongside Adra, you’ll frequently acquire some form of wood or another resource based on the rarity of the distinctive equipment. However, do keep in mind that any unique item can be dismantled; just ensure it’s a piece of gear you won’t need for future use in Avowed.

2. Explore and open chests/lockboxes

An intuitive method for acquiring Adra is worth noting, even though it seems clear. You can gather Adra by opening treasure chests and lockboxes during your adventures or while completing quests in Avowed. Importantly, chests and lockboxes that shimmer with a golden hue may contain Adra, as it’s a rare, golden item. On the other hand, chests or lockboxes glowing any color other than gold (such as blue or purple) will not have Adra inside them.

I’ve noticed that they typically sell for approximately 625 gold, though this price might differ based on the trader you’re dealing with and your progress in the story.

This approach is the one I’d trust least due to the scarcity of Adra among traders, and its high price that could otherwise be spent on equipment, healing supplies, or other enhancement resources. Yet, if you merely require a single Adra for weapon upgrade, this method could prove useful as a last resort.
