Balatro is Collaborating With The Witcher 3, Among Us, and More

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the recent announcement during the Indie World Showcase and Nintendo Direct has me absolutely thrilled! Balatro, one of the most talked-about games of 2024, is teaming up with some heavyweights in the gaming industry – The Switch 3, Among Us, Vampire Survivors, and Dive the Diver.

During the Indie World Showcase and Nintendo Direct, it was announced that Balatro will join forces with multiple other games as part of a collaborative project.

Four games, Switch 3, Among Us, Vampire Survivors, and Dive the Diver, have been revealed as teaming up with Balatro. The collaboration update is set to release for free later on today. Check out the announcement trailer below:

According to the announcement, the collaboration will be nothing more than cosmetic.

Among the anticipated games set for release in 2024, Balatro stands out as one of the most successful, managing to sell over two million copies within just six months. As per critics’ reviews, this game is strongly considered a top contender for “The Game Awards’ Indie Game of The Year.” Some even go as far as suggesting that it’s not only an indie game contender but also a viable candidate for the overall “Game of The Year” award.
