Ball Pit has reached a major milestone with 1 million players! To mark the occasion, the developers have announced they’ll be releasing three free updates in 2026.
Ball x Pit, the new game from Kenny Sun & Friends and Devolver Digital, quickly became a popular hit in 2025, surpassing major sales goals within its first week. Now, just two months after its release, the game has reached another impressive milestone – 1 million players!
Ball X Pit’s Free Content Updates Will Be Released Between January and July 2026
Ball x Pit has announced that over one million people are now playing their game! As a thank you, they’re planning to release three free updates over the next year. These updates will add new content like balls, character upgrades, buildings, and characters. Players can expect the ‘Regal’ update in January 2026, followed by ‘Shadow’ in April 2026, and ‘Naturalist’ in July 2026.
Just when you thought BALL x PIT was done, we’re adding even more! Next year, get ready for three free updates packed with new content, including different balls, character evolutions, new characters and enemies, and much more! Here’s the schedule:

Ball x Pit is a game where you jump into a pit full of monsters to find treasure and build a team of heroes. You’ll craft special weapons and gather resources along the way. The game lets you combine over 60 different types of balls to create unique effects, and you can build 70 different structures to gain advantages, unlock new abilities, and meet new characters.
The game features diverse environments, from scorching deserts and icy caves to dangerous forests and beyond. Each area presents unique challenges, monsters, and powerful bosses.
