Okay, so BALL x PIT is blowing up! I just heard that the game has already sold over a million copies, which is insane! And Devolver Digital isn’t stopping there – they’re promising a whole bunch of new content coming in 2026. I can’t wait!

Ball x Pit, created by Kenny Sun & Friends, is a surprisingly deep arcade-style game where you play as unique heroes, build a base, and launch magical projectiles. It’s been a big hit, so Kenny Sun is already planning to create more content for it.

Three Major Content Updates Coming To Ball x Pit Next Year

Ball x Pit is a hit on Steam, with players loving its quick and exciting gameplay – blasting balls and breaking bricks. It’s not surprising the game has already sold over a million copies, but the developers have announced even more content is coming next year, which is a fantastic surprise!

Today, Devolver Digital released a video on their YouTube channel detailing the future of BALL x PIT. The video highlighted three significant content updates planned for 2026.

  • January 2026 – Regal Update
  • April 2026 – Shadow Update
  • July 2026 – Naturalist Update

We’ll share more details about these updates soon, but here’s what we can confirm so far: each update will feature new balls, unique character abilities (passives), character evolutions, buildings, and playable characters.

The next few updates will each add unique hunters with distinct backgrounds: the Regal update features hunters from aristocratic families, the Shadow update introduces masters of disguise and trickery, and the Naturalist update will include hunters driven by survival and resourcefulness.
