Bam Margera Is In Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, It’s Claimed

After much debate, it appears that one of the most contentious skateboarding legends will indeed feature in the upcoming Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4 games. As reported by The Nine Club podcast, Bam Margera has been confirmed for inclusion in the game.

In the latest installment of their program, the presenter, Roger Bagley, clarified how Margera managed to join the competition, as it turned out during the unveiling that he wasn’t initially included in the team lineup.

According to Bagley, the game had already been completed and there was no place for Margera in it. However, Hawk is said to have asserted his authority to ensure Margera’s inclusion in the game’s lineup.

According to Bagley, Tony spoke to Activision and stated, “Hey, we’re including Bam in the project”, to which they replied, “Hey, we can’t do that”. However, Tony persisted, saying, “No, you will make it happen”, effectively compelling them to arrange for Bam to return, have his body scanned, and reintegrate him into the game.

TMZ has confirmed the reports, stating that Activision took Margera to Los Angeles for motion capture work on their upcoming game. It’s now likely that Margera will be part of the remake, as he has previously appeared in seven Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games, starting with the third installment in 2001, and his last appearance was in 2007’s Proving Ground.

We’ve attempted to contact Activision for their thoughts on the allegation, and we’ll make sure to provide an update on this article if they choose to respond.

The highly anticipated Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 & 4 will hit the shelves on July 11, compatible with PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, personal computers, and Nintendo Switch. Additionally, gamers with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription or PC users can enjoy it on its release day!
