It was a lowlife criminal who disfigured me with a vicious acid attack, an event that ignited my Two-Face persona. The intriguing addition in Arkham Shadow deepens the lore, revealing an additional detail that sheds more light on the circumstances surrounding my tragic transformation.
In the game titled “Batman: Arkham Shadow,” Batman assumes the identity of a crook named Irvine “Matches” Malone to sneak into Blackgate penitentiary and uncover the Rat King’s true identity. Later on, Batman, disguised as Matches, is put on trial and encounters Jonathan Crane, who would later become known as the Scarecrow. He tries to spray a fear-inducing chemical on Batman, but our hero manages to dodge it. Sadly, the substance accidentally hits Harvey Dent, causing him to be disfigured. To put it simply, “Batman: Arkham Shadow” uncovers the truth that it was Batman who left Harvey Dent with his scarred appearance.
Batman: Arkham Shadow Explains Two-Face’s Origin
