Battlefield 6 Battle Royale Release Date & Start Times—Battlefield: RedSec Shadow Drop, Explained

I’m so hyped for Battlefield: RedSec, which is coming to Battlefield 6! From what I’ve heard, it’s a new take on battle royale, keeping all the awesome destruction and intense gameplay we love from Battlefield. It’s a fresh name, RedSec, and everyone’s wondering when it’s dropping – there’s even talk of a surprise ‘shadow drop’! I’m keeping my eyes peeled for the official release date and all the details.

Now that Battlefield 6 has been available for a few weeks, most players have finished the story campaign and started playing online. The next big addition will be the Battle Royale mode, known as Battlefield: RedSec.

Okay, so I’m finally dropping into Battlefield: RedSec’s battle royale mode, and I’m really curious to see what makes it different from all the other BR games out there. I want to see if it can really stand out from the crowd!

Battlefield: RedSec Release Date

The release date for the next Battlefield game is rumored to be October 28th, so you should start working on leveling up your weapons and equipment now to get ready.

TopMob initially announced that the Battle Royale mode for Battlefield 6 would be available on October 28th. This date was widely expected, and recent data discovered within the game files confirmed the same release date, making the information consistent.

We were surprised to learn, thanks to an exclusive from ModernWarzone, that the battle royale mode in the next Battlefield game (Battlefield 6) will be called Battlefield: RedSec.

A bunch of details are already known, although start time details aren’t quite as clear.

Battlefield 6 BR Start Time & Shadow Drop Details

We currently don’t have a confirmed release time for Battlefield 6’s RedSec mode. Reports suggest it might be unexpectedly released on October 28th as a surprise update.

The surprise of a ‘shadow drop’ isn’t what it used to be. Because of leaks, people often know about these unexpected releases beforehand, like with the recent announcement of the remastered version of Oblivion.

Currently, the most probable outcome is that the Battlefield 6 beta, known as RedSec BR, will be released unexpectedly on October 28th, without any prior official trailer. We don’t know exactly when it will launch – it could be a surprise release at midnight, or during the typical timeframe of 9 or 10 PM Pacific Time.

We’ll have full coverage of RedSec as soon as it launches – it’s a major release everyone who enjoys first-person shooters and battle royale games will want to know about. Stay tuned for updates!
