During the upcoming open beta weekend, players of Battlefield 6 can look forward to trying out not one but two fresh game modes, as well as exploring a brand-new map!
The open beta for Battlefield 6 set a new record for the franchise with more than half a million players simultaneously on Steam at its peak. Yet, it also encountered a few minor glitches such as quicker-than-expected player eliminations that developers are currently addressing. They aim to resolve any issues found before the upcoming BF6 Open Beta weekend, which will showcase a new map and game modes.
Battlefield 6 Open Beta Weekend 2 Will Add Empire State with Rush and Squad Deathmatch Modes
According to Gamesradar+, Daniel Cambran from EA Dice has announced that there will be an open beta weekend for Battlefield 6 on his X account (previously known as Twitter). The developer expressed gratitude towards players for testing the game and offering feedback. Over the upcoming weekend, players can repeat this experience, but with a fresh map titled Empire State, along with two new game modes: Rush and Squad Deathmatch.

During the upcoming Battlefield 6 beta weekend, you’ll have access to maps such as Siege of Cairo, Liberation Peak, and Iberian Offensive, which were part of last weekend’s event. Last weekend’s game modes included Conquest, Closed Weapon Conquest, Breakthrough, Domination, and King of the Hill. In the second Battlefield 6 Open Beta Weekend, we’ll be adding Closed Weapon Conquest and Breakthrough to the mix.
