In Battlefield 6, the sniper experience is breathtaking, but players have consistently voiced concerns about the Sniper Glint. A developer from Battlefield 6 has acknowledged this issue through social media and hinted at substantial modifications in the game’s mechanics to address it soon.
Almost everything shown regarding Battlefield 6 has been quite impressive. The Battlefield Labs have offered a fascinating glimpse, hosting countless battles. The beta phase of Battlefield 6 invites a larger number of players, allowing us to personally experience its appearance and feel.
But gameplay leaks and official footage have already shown how extreme Sniper Glint is.
Battlefield 6 Sniper Glint Will be “Toned Down”
As a dedicated sniper, it’s all about maintaining stealth and secrecy to keep my position undetected. This way, I can take out targets with minimal disturbance. A recent post on Battlefield Wire highlights the vulnerability of snipers when they peer through their scopes – a stark reminder of the importance of staying hidden.
Is it quite noticeable whether Battlefield 6 should incorporate a Sniper Sight Effect?

Do you think that Battlefield 6 should have Sniper Glint?

Indeed, it piqued Florian Le Bihan’s, also known as DRUNKKZ3 and now the Principal Game Designer at DICE, attention. He responded affirmatively, indicating that while the feature may be adjusted slightly in terms of size, it’s not going anywhere for good.
The character Sniper Glint won’t disappear, and that’s positive because having no Sniper Glint could result in an unbalanced game situation. With the absence of killcams and large maps, snipers would excel at their role, but it might become overpowered (OP).

Yes 🙂 It’ll get toned down in scale a bit but it’s here to stay

Instead of Battlefield 6 lacking “Complete Destruction,” developers hint that its destruction feature may undergo changes. Additionally, they suggest that the Time-To-Kill mechanism in Battlefield 6 is expected to develop further.
