Girette also noted that planning seasons involves much more than just the game itself – marketing and coordinating future seasons are also crucial. He assured players that they’ve taken significant steps across various departments to deliver seasons on schedule once a season’s end date is set.

It’s unclear how the delay of Season 2 will impact the number of players in Battlefield 6. The developers are worried that the new content won’t be enough to bring players back. Ultimately, consistent content updates are crucial for live service games to stay competitive.
Battlefield 6’s Season 2 is now live and will deliver new content in three updates. The first, called Extreme Measures, adds a new map named Contaminated, plus new weapons and vehicles.
