Battlefield 6 Devs Are Looking Into ‘Unexpectedly Fast’ Time to Death

The main game designer at DICE is inviting gamers to submit videos showcasing instances where they died surprisingly quickly in the Battlefield 6 open testing phase.

The initial open beta for Battlefield 6 was incredibly popular, setting a new record as the largest open beta in the franchise’s history, even surpassing Call of Duty’s simultaneous player count on Steam. Despite some technical issues popping up over the weekend, they were nothing major and are now being addressed by the developers. They’re already looking into a rapid Time-to-Death (TTD) bug in Battlefield 6 that appeared unexpectedly.

Battlefield 6 Dev Asks Players to Share Video Examples of ‘Super Bullets’ or ‘Unexpectedly Fast TTD’

The open beta for Battlefield 6 has concluded, and developers are currently working on fixing the issues reported by players over the weekend. As reported by GamesRadar+, Florian Le Bihan, who previously used Twitter, posted today that the team is now going through feedback from the Battlefield 6 open beta at their office. Later, Le Bihan requested players to share video evidence of any instances where they encountered “super bullet” or unusually fast time-to-kill during the Battlefield 6 Open Beta.

Hey there fellow gaming enthusiasts! If by chance you’ve managed to capture any intriguing footage during the Battlefield 6 Open Beta showcasing what appears to be a mysterious super bullet or an unusually swift Time-To-Die event, I’d absolutely love to check it out. Feel free to share them with me 🙂

Several participants submitted video demonstrations as well as personal accounts of their experiences. One user uploaded videos detailing two distinct situations: one in which they were hiding and got killed instantly upon being targeted, and another where they sustained delayed damage following the elimination of an opponent. For those who may not be familiar, TTD, or Time-to-Death, is the length of time it takes for a player to perish after receiving harm.
