Battlefield 6 Devs Are ‘Rolling Out a Fix’ for Bullets Not Registering

The lead designer for Battlefield 6 has announced that they’re working on a solution to the problem of bullets not always hitting their target.

Battlefield 6 has been a huge success, selling over 6.5 million copies in just a few days, which is a testament to the developers’ excellent work. While the game is popular, it still has some issues with bugs and glitches. The good news is that an upcoming update will fix the problem with bullets not registering correctly.

Battlefield 6 Hits Not Registering Will be Fixed in Next Patch

Battlefield 6’s lead game designer, Florian Le Bihan, announced on X (formerly Twitter) that a fix is being released for a bug where bullets sometimes don’t register hits. Players have noticed that they can see blood splatters on enemies they shoot, but no damage is actually dealt. Le Bihan explained the problem happened with specific weapon and attachment combinations, but it should now be fixed.

We’ve fixed a bug where bullets would appear to hit enemies, showing blood splatters, but actually wouldn’t deal any damage. This problem happened randomly with specific weapon and attachment setups, but it should be fixed now.

Le Bihan responded to the discussion, explaining that occasional problems with registering hits can happen due to unstable internet connections or issues with the game servers. Players will see icons at the top left of the screen if this is the case. The lead game designer also stated that this update for Battlefield 6 won’t fix the bloom effect, as it’s a separate problem.
