I just saw this crazy bug in Battlefield 6! Apparently, you can actually ride the drones way up into the sky. It takes a little work to pull off, but people are already posting hilarious videos of it online. It’s pretty wild!
Battlefield 6 has had a successful launch, attracting a large number of players in its first week. It peaked at over 700,000 concurrent players on Steam and continues to see hundreds of thousands of daily players. Across all platforms, the game has reportedly sold over 7 million copies. Despite some issues players have pointed out, the latest Battlefield game is proving popular with gamers. Players are already discovering interesting things while playing the multiplayer matches.
Battlefield 6 Recon Drone Glitch
Players have discovered a strange trick in *Battlefield 6*: they can ride the recon drones. A clip shared by CharlieIntel shows players standing on top of the drones and launching upwards. It only works if they repeatedly hit the drone with a sledgehammer, which keeps them from falling off as it moves. This allows players to reach surprisingly high altitudes and even use the drone as an unexpected sniping spot, as demonstrated in the clip.
This seems to be an accidental error in the game, and the developers will probably fix it quickly. That means players won’t be able to use it for long. It also requires teamwork – you need a friend to help position a drone correctly. While the bug lets you get a better view of the map in *Battlefield 6*, it does make you more vulnerable to enemy fire. Despite that, it could lead to some funny and unexpected moments for players.

Okay, so that weird drone glitch is probably going to be fixed soon, which is great. But honestly, the developers are working on a *lot* more than just that! They’ve been really responsive since the game launched, pushing out updates all the time based on what we, the players, are saying. Just recently, they dropped a hotfix for *Battlefield 6* that actually fixed some of those frustrating hit registration problems I was having. And they’ve also tweaked Conquest mode, which is awesome to see. It’s good to know they’re listening and actively improving the game!
It’ll be interesting to see if *Battlefield 6* can maintain its popularity, particularly after *Call of Duty: Black Ops 7* comes out on November 14th. Although each new *Call of Duty* game always draws a large fanbase, EA seems to be offering strong competition this year. Over the next few months, we’ll see what other unique moments from the new *Battlefield* game players share online.
