As a Battlefield 6 player, I’ve noticed a really frustrating issue with the out-of-bounds timers. They’re way too short, and it’s making helicopter fights almost impossible! You can be doing fine, then suddenly get killed because you briefly flew outside the playable area – it feels totally unfair and like there’s nothing you can do about it.
Despite testing with an open beta, the full launch of *Battlefield 6* still has some problems that Battlefield Studios needs to fix. Players have been quick to report these issues, hoping the developers will address them and improve the game. It’s common for first-person shooters to have a few bugs early on, as they involve many complex systems working together.
Battlefield 6’s Out-Of-Bound Timers Are Too Low For Helicopter Combat
A recent clip shared on Reddit by FailedDetails highlights a frustrating issue with timers in *Battlefield 6*. The player briefly flew their helicopter just outside the playable area and quickly tried to return. However, a combination of a short five-second timer and the game’s difficult vehicle controls meant they couldn’t make it back in time, resulting in their death. They could have survived with just one more second, but the strict timer unfairly punished them. While these timers are meant to stop players from intentionally going out of bounds, it’s unclear what the player could have done differently to avoid this situation.
Most players in the discussion agreed the current countdown timer is too short and negatively impacts helicopter battles. While a longer timer could help, some suggested also expanding the map boundaries for vehicle combat in *Battlefield 6* as another solution.
Players have noticed the respawn timer sometimes lasts longer than expected, up to 10 seconds on certain maps or when using particular vehicles. It’s not clear why the timer changes, and some think it might be a bug. Battlefield Studios should investigate this inconsistency.
Even though some players have minor issues, Battlefield 6 has generally been very well-received. We expect to release smaller updates between the larger content releases starting with Season 1 later this month to address those smaller problems and improve the experience.
