Battlefield 6 Skins Are Being Adjusted After Community Backlash

I was really glad to see DICE listened to us about the System Override skin in Battlefield 6! A lot of fans, myself included, thought the colors were way too unrealistic, and they’ve adjusted them now, which is awesome. It’s great when they respond to feedback like that!

Players of Battlefield 6 are very particular about how things look in the game and quickly point out anything that doesn’t seem realistic. Recently, a skin called ‘Wicked Grin’ released with Season One received a lot of criticism. Thankfully, the developers responded quickly and made changes to address the feedback.

Battlefield 6’s System Override Skin Gets a Do-Over

A recent post on the Battlefield subreddit, spotted by TheGamer, highlights some changes to the ‘System Override’ skin. Originally, the skin’s bright green coloring led many to believe it was a promotion for Monster Energy drink. However, the developers have now made the green much more subdued and realistic. Players are pleased with how quickly the developers responded to their feedback.

Ever since details emerged, players have been discussing the cosmetic skins in Battlefield 6. Many are concerned the game will follow Call of Duty’s lead with its customization options, and have voiced their disappointment with early leaks. The ‘Wicked Grin’ skin, in particular, sparked controversy, with some players even threatening to intentionally leave players with that skin to die in-game.
