Battlefield 6 Trick Makes Sniping Much Easier

A player in Battlefield 6 has found a clever way to make sniping much easier. Sniping in Battlefield 6 can be challenging for new players, especially compared to games like Call of Duty. However, this player is using the Range Finder attachment and a custom key binding to improve their accuracy in large-scale game modes like Conquest and Breakthrough.

Wow, *Battlefield 6* is absolutely crushing it right now! I’m seeing everyone talk about whether this could finally be the year it beats *Call of Duty* in sales. It had an amazing launch – over 747,000 of us were playing on Steam at the same time, and they’ve already sold over 7 million copies in just five days! Meanwhile, the *Call of Duty* team at Treyarch is getting ready to drop *Black Ops 7* on November 14th, and their beta was pretty solid. But honestly, with so many of us already totally hooked on *Battlefield 6*, they’re going to have to bring something *really* special to stay on top this year.

Battlefield 6 Player Discovers Handy Sniping Trick

Many Call of Duty players are trying Battlefield for the first time with Battlefield 6, and some are finding sniping challenging. But content creator Stone Mountain has found a helpful trick! By attaching the Range Finder to the M2010 ESR and setting the firing control to activate it, players can automatically and perfectly zero in on their targets every time, making sniping much easier.

If you’re a sniper in *Battlefield 6*, the Range Finder attachment is essential. While the game doesn’t clearly explain what it does, it’s actually quite simple. When equipped, you’ll see a box added to the side of your sniper rifle – that’s the Range Finder. During gameplay, just aim down the sights and hold down the d-pad (or the ‘B’ key on PC). This will automatically adjust the zero distance indicator in the corner of your screen to match the exact distance to your target. It drastically simplifies sniping by automatically zeroing your scope, and with a clever trick discovered by a player nicknamed ‘Stone Mountain,’ you can even combine aiming and zeroing into a single, seamless action.

It’s possible the developers at DICE didn’t intend for players to be able to do this, and they might fix it in a future update. They’re currently working on other problems with the game, like issues with shots landing correctly and adjusting how long matches last in modes like Conquest. With the launch of *Battlefield 6* Season 1 just under two weeks away, bringing a new map, weapons, and other content, these fixes might come soon. The season will be released in three parts: the first on October 28th, the second on November 18th, and the third on December 9th.
