Battlefield 6’s Campaign Tells You To Uninstall When You’re Done

Battlefield 6’s Campaign offers players an ‘Uninstall’ button once they have finished it.

The popular new first-person shooter, Battlefield 6, is out now and quickly becoming a hit on Steam, breaking player count records previously held by Call of Duty. Recent news reveals that the game’s single-player campaign will include a unique feature: the ability for players to essentially ‘opt-out’ or ‘uninstall’ portions of the story.

Battlefield 6 Campaign Can be Easily Uninstalled Once Completed

A recent post on X (formerly Twitter) by BobNetworkUK, noticed by The Gamer, shows that after finishing the campaign in the next Battlefield game (Battlefield 6), the button to replay the campaign will change to an uninstall button. The original poster clarified that players who want to keep playing and completing challenges can still do so through mission select. However, many gamers will likely appreciate the option to easily remove the campaign once they’ve finished it.

Battlefield 6’s single-player campaign will include nine missions set across Africa, North America, and Europe. Throughout the campaign, you’ll be able to control a full squad of soldiers, each with a unique class. The way you revive fallen teammates will be similar to the multiplayer experience – squad members can revive each other, and you can be revived in return.
