Breaking Bad fans have discovered a hidden reference in Battlefield 6. On the Eastwood map, which features a rundown neighborhood, one house contains a distinctive item: a box of Los Pollos Hermanos fried chicken.
Battlefield 6 is set to receive a continuous stream of new content in the coming months and years. Through seasonal updates and smaller additions, the game is shaping up to be incredibly full-featured. The recently released Eastwood map gives players a taste of what EA and DICE have planned, offering extensive destruction and varied gameplay environments.
Funnily enough, it also has pizza.
Breaking Bad & Battlefield 6 Put Their Easter Eggs In One Basket
Someone playing Battlefield 6 noticed a pizza stuck on the roof of a building in the Eastwood area of the game.
Someone marked the spot on a map – it’s really tiny, you might need a magnifying glass to find it – and if you go there and get on the roof of the house, you’ll find a whole pizza. Fans of the show Breaking Bad will immediately understand what that means.
In the second episode of Season 3, titled “Caballo sin Nombre,” Walter White arrives at his home with a large pizza. His wife, Skylar, answers the door but won’t let him inside. Angry, Walter throws the empty pizza box at the garage. Amazingly, the pizza itself flies out of the box and lands on the roof – a remarkably lucky shot.
The scene became truly legendary when people learned it wasn’t planned at all. It was a complete accident that Bryan Cranston actually managed to throw a large pizza onto the roof!
Many games have hidden surprises, but this one in Battlefield 6 is a classic that players likely won’t ever tire of discovering.
