Don’t Only Focus On Damage Items

It’s important to focus on damaging items to deplete an opponent’s health points, but you’re not limited to relying solely on them. You could also consider other tactics, for instance, using strategies that don’t primarily revolve around causing damage.

Stack up on Shield, Heal, and Regen, and try to survive until the Storm hits and out-protect your enemy.
Play on Shield and use an item that deals damage based on Shield.
Focus on Poison and Burn to disrupt Shield users.

When dealing with cards, always remember to observe item cooldowns and ensure they complement each other. To illustrate this, let’s consider the character Stelle. She usually needs some of her cards to be Flying and to cease being Flying. In such a scenario, you should make sure that the card retains its Flying status to perform its function effectively, and only stops being Flying once it has been cast. Here’s another tactic for engaging in battles with opponents: Each one tends to have specific tricks up its sleeve, often indicated by their appearance or design. A creature that appears engulfed in flames? It might belong to a Burn deck. An enemy that looks frozen solid? More likely part of a Freeze deck. By recognizing these patterns, you can strategically dodge opponents whose decks could counter your roster. For example, a Shield build would struggle against an opponent with a Poison-based deck as Poison bypasses the shield protection.
