While Xbox Game Pass offers a fantastic selection of games, it’s important to note that not all titles are available indefinitely. Recently, the announcement that MLB The Show 25 would not be part of the Game Pass library has left many fans feeling let down.
Every month, I usually see games leaving the Xbox Game Pass library around the 15th, marking the end of their stay. However, this month, it’s a bit different as seven games will be bidding farewell from the library on April 15th.
- Botany Manor
- Coral Island
- Harold Halibut
- Homestead Arcana
- Kona
- Orcs Must Die! 3
- Turbo Golf Racing
Originally scheduled for removal from Game Pass on April 15th were eight games. However, it appears there will only be seven departures as one game, a sequel to a Microsoft Game Studios title, Shadow of the Tomb Raider (2018), won’t be leaving.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is Not Leaving Xbox Game Pass

In April 2024, Shadow of the Tomb Raider was initially included in the Game Pass library. However, according to a statement from Xbox Wire, it appears that Shadow of the Tomb Raider was mistakenly listed as one of the games departing this month.
In a sequence of events within the Tomb Raider series, Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the second installment to follow the 2013 reboot. Originally published by Square Enix for the 2013 launch, Microsoft took over publishing duties with Rise of the Tomb Raider in 2015, which was initially an exclusive title for Xbox. However, it became accessible on PC and PlayStation 4 in 2016. This time around, Square Enix Europe oversaw the publication of Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the latest addition to the franchise.
For the last three years, the Tomb Raider series has been concentrating on releasing remastered collections. In 2023, we can expect the release of The Lara Croft Collection, featuring re-mastered versions of Tomb Raider I-III, followed by the launch of Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered in 2024 and 2025.
At present, you’ll find just two editions of Tomb Raider games accessible on Xbox Game Pass: The Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and the 2013 version of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.
