Following Kentarou Miura’s demise, enthusiasts of Berserk found themselves anxiously anticipating news about the manga’s future continuation. Many had resigned themselves to the idea that the series might never reach its conclusion. Nevertheless, Kouji Mori and the gifted team at Studio Gaga chose to honor Miura’s legacy by carrying on with the story.
Following Miura’s passing, there was confirmation that Berserk would carry on with its serialization, now under the management of Mori and Studio Gaga. However, the manga has not been delivering chapters at a regular pace. Instead, it has periods of rest between releases, which can be attributed to their desire not to rush the creative process.
Kouji Mori and all those involved are striving for precision in their work to ensure fans won’t perceive a decline in quality. In a recent announcement, it’s been disclosed that Berserk is set to return in the upcoming issue of Young Animal magazine. As indicated by the report, the 379th chapter of Berserk is scheduled for release on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2025.
Berserk Chapter 379 Release Date
In the span of my recent observations, it’s been nearly a year since the last chapter of Berserk was unveiled in November 2024. To my relief, and I assume to many others’, there wasn’t much chatter about when the manga would resume its course. However, the wait didn’t seem endless, as an announcement finally graced our anticipating eyes. As you may remember, Chapter 379 is set to drop on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2025. The previous chapter wasn’t particularly action-packed, but it did bring a substantial twist in the narrative. To begin with, the Rakshas launched an assault on the Kurultai, a crucial gathering for the Kushans where they tackle their most pressing matters.
Wow, I must say, Rakshas has truly upped his game since we last crossed paths! His power left me speechless, even Daiba seemed taken aback by it. Silat wasn’t faring much better; he was pushed to his limits against the apostle and needed assistance from his comrades just to hold his ground.
As for our hero, Guts, it appears the Kushans couldn’t care less about freeing him at this point in time.
It’s only a matter of time before Guts takes part in the battle. After gaining his freedom, Guts is destined to confront the Rakshas and aid the Kushans in their defense against the apostle. The next chapter of Berserk promises to delve into this intriguing plotline.

In 1989, Berserk started getting published in Hakusensha’s Monthly Animal House, a year after its initial manga prototype was introduced. The series remained there until it made way for the Young Animal magazine in 1992.
Although Berserk might not match up with shonen series in terms of online popularity, it’s worth noting that it has successfully sold over 60 million copies, a combination of physical and digital editions.
