Today, Developer Neople and Publisher Nexon unveil “The First Berserker: Khazan”. This hardcore action RPG is positioned 800 years before the chronology of the Dungeon Fighter Online (DNF) universe. Similar to many game debuts, the developer’s newest title is being updated with a day-one patch to correct some glitches and modify various aspects for balance. Some of these modifications make the game’s introductory phase more approachable for players as they navigate the challenging soulslike experience, while others increase the difficulty in the later stages of today’s release.
In the latest version of “The First Berserker: Khazan“, there’s a significant adjustment concerning Viper, an initial boss in the game. According to Creative Director Junho Lee, this boss is often referred to as a “tough nut to crack” within the gaming community because it serves as a test of skills early on in the game. The main reason for this change was based on feedback from the community, with some players describing it as a “challenge on par with final bosses.” The developers discovered that the skill required to defeat Viper exceeded what players typically acquire during those initial stages of the game. Consequently, the difficulty of Viper’s first and second phases has been reduced.
Furthermore, the latest update for “The First Berserker: Khazan” addressed the Primeval Regression Bug that had been problematic for players utilizing the Hero’s Weapon and Armor Set. Consequently, users should no longer experience inconsistencies regarding stats and Lacrima (the stat upgrade currency) while using this item. Here are the comprehensive patch notes for Neople’s new action RPG.
